Floor Sanding and Polishing Staining PJ DIAMOND Melbourne

I am glad I went with PJ Diamond Timber Floors. These guys were fantastic, no surprises, on time, competitively priced and did an amazing job on a difficult floor. They completed the job over Easter without a day off.

The floors in our open plan house were badly worn to the point where I thought they could not be brought back to their original quality. Peter and his team did an amazing job in sanding and revarnishing our floors and we are thrilled with the results. Some of the stair work was tedious, but this along with the rest of the work was meticulously done. Peter also went above and beyond our expectations, repairing damaged wood, removing and replacing glass walls that we couldn't manage, and moving heavy furniture that we also hadn't been able to manage. Peter and his team also took great care to keep cleaning required to a minimum. I have no hesitation in highly recommending P J Diamond Floors as a skilled, professional and reliable company.

Peter and his team were such a pleasure to deal with. Their attention to details was second to none and the quality of the work was fantastic. The trouble he went to to find the replacement boards was above and beyond.My 85 year baltic timber floors never looked this good. the result is way beyond my expectations and would absolutely recommend PJ Diamond floors to anyone considering sanding and polishing their timber floors

Peter and his team did an excellent job in restoring our hardwood floor, on a very strict timetable that we had due to moving into our new house. I was impressed with his knowledge of the options for solvent Vs waterbased finishes, and we were also impressed that he was able to fit us in at short notice. The attention to detail of Peter's team was really good, as our floor had some hard to access areas within the kitchen area. The job was finished on time, and the completed job looked really good. Peter also answered his phone any time I had a query in regards to the job, which was reassuring. I would recommend Peter and his team to anyone.

Peter was very professional and he and his team were able to provide exactly what we had hoped for regarding laying, sanding and polishing a new hardwood timber floor. The floors are amazing and have come up beautifully. The attention to detail can not be faulted. PJ Diamond have provided an extremely high level of expertise and attention to detail. We could not be happier with how our floors have turned out under the experienced team at Pj Diamond. The team were extremely thorough with their attention to detail throughout the whole process of removing multiple layers of Lino and Masonite/hardwood board with thousands of staples and nails to refurbishing 40 year old Tasmanian Oak to an absolutely beautiful condition with a modern finish. Peter was also available on call for any questions/queries that arose and completed multiple inspections himself which made us feel we were in safe hands! The photos speak for themselves. I would recommend this team to everyone!

Peter and his team did an amazing job on our house.When we bought the house the floors had been painted white around where rugs had been placed....Peter was polite, explained what needed to be done and we were comfortable leaving the house with him and his team. They were on time every time and the place was clean when we came home.They sanded, polished and varnished the floors throughout to perfection!Before and after of one of the rooms and photos of the repaired floor of where we removed the fireplace. Couldn’t be happier with the service and end result. Our floor looks incredible!We didn’t make it easy for Peter and his team, unfortunately we had multiple water leaks from a leaking washing machine and dodgy taps which damaged our floor during the sand and polish process. Peter and the guys were incredible, they repaired the floors and didn’t complain even though it had an impact on their schedule. The guys are very professional, communicate well in regards to timelines and did an amazing job.I have to edit my review as PJ diamond have recently installed our new herringbone parquetry floor in our new house. As always Peter was incredibly diligent in working out what was required to get the best finish possible. I am incredibly happy with the finished result and could not recommend pj diamond any higher. Great communication, extremely professional result and beautiful floors as a result

I feel compelled to leave a glowing review for Peter and his team. We required a bespoke flooring job in a top floor apartment in East Melbourne and several other tradespeople either refused to quote or didn't agree with what we wanted to accomplish. Peter came out on a Saturday morning and immediately understood our request. We gave them a tight deadline and they delivered on time and on budget. More than that, the team at PJ Diamond were all artisans and cared deeply about every little detail. They were polite to deal with at all times and cleaned up every day before leaving the apartment. These guys did a terrific job on our 25 year old Mountain Ash parquetry floor. We are so pleased with the result! They kept to the agreed schedule and were very responsive to our questions. We thoroughly recommend PJ Diamond Floors.
