West Wallsend Workers Club

Food by Reeds by the Creek is fantastic.Great variety, large servings and very cheap.Service is very quick and club atmosphere is very friendly. Has option of courtesy bus and has kids play area. This club ticks all the boxes.

Friendly local club, good food at restaurant. Worth a visit.

Just at the corner of Hyndes st West Wallsend

For an extensive $12 lunch menu and $1 post mix drinks, you can't beat the value here. I had the calamari, but my friends had the chicken schnitzel and the steak sandwich which were quite large for the price. Will definitely go back as the food quality was good as well.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The place seems like it is rarely open. Waited over 10 mins to be served, ordered a pizza that was advertised on the tv screen behind the cashier desk, girl serving had to wait for the advertisement to appear on the screen to find out the cost of the pizza, was called up half an hr later to just to confirm what the order was. 45 min more later no pizza. Stood around for another 5mins waiting. They finally bring it out the raffle is over and I'm going home and instead of being apologetic about the time it took. I was met with I think the owner being very rude, swearing about being short staffed and then tells me it's not the pizza that I ordered. I've never been to a place in the food service industry with such rude, incompetent staff.

Large open area with comfortable seating downstairs. Separated decent pokie zone. Extended outside pokie smoking zone...with seating anf tables.Upstairs is huge. Staged open zone. Heaps of tables...great for an event.Resaurant/bistro has the best chips.....cheap lunches ($10) on weekend...maybe everyday....dont know as I have only had this on weekend. Huge chicken snitty burger and chips is great. There are other burgers...I have had the meat and relish....heaps of salads and chips. Roast dinners ...beautiful!Meals on other occassions are very good. Have had quite a few dinners and lunches over the years and always great eating and good value.

Have dined here many times now (at Reeds by the Creek) & have most often taken family &/or friends with me too, knowing they'd have a good meal. Our favourites to date are crumbed lamb cutlets with gravy, vegies & mash (or you can have salad & chips), & the chicken Caesar salad wrap is fantastic (& very large and filling!). My son & I get extra dressing on the wrap .. just helps make it a tad more juicy & tangy. So far, none of us have been disappointed by our selected meals. Oh yes .. the staff are all very friendly too, both in the club itself, behind the bar & in the restaurant. All good!

Had a meal from the Reeds Restaurant inside the Workers club, The meal was fantastic. The meal size was very large and delicious. Even the kids meals were so big they filled up and forgot about icecream. I would definitely go back. Make sure you eat in the back room overlooking the carpark for a better experience or need the small slide and kids entertainment area for the little kids.

Great little club. No vb on tap though. Still good though.
