Great food, family friendly atmosphere and decently priced. Not so great was being told that there was a $150 minimum hourly spend to have drinks at the bar - at 8pm on a Saturday night. Maybe fair if we were the only customers but not the case.

The restaurant was warm and welcoming. We both ordered the Mango and chicken Salad but we had to send these meals bad. The staff were fantastic and offered us to order some thing else. So I ordered the Calamari. Very tender and hot. It hit the spot.

The Grove at Hidden Valley Resort
I don’t leave review often but so glad I just found this place as I’m not a fan of any local restaurants around here. Quite a large menu plenty to choose from, we had the steak and ragu for main, and chicken strips for entree, they were all delicious, staff were super friendly and lovely. Will be back asap, it’s our new local.

Went to the Grove on Christmas Eve with my in laws and family.We got there around 5.30pm the bistro only had about two tables occupied.We were informed we could order and pay from our table.Meals arrived reasonably quick.Meals were nice and hot and great portions.They have so many young staff behind the bar.Around 6 staff behind the bar chatting,laughing,eating drinking . Nobody came around to ask us if everything was okay or if we would like anything else.I understand it's a bistro style more relaxed but not very good when 6 staff just having the time of their lives behind the bar as opposed to actually do some work.Apart from that our Meals were fantastic.

Very disappointed. The Parma has no test and very thick. I asked for well done porter house but received as a medium cook then asked them to cook it more and gave it back to me as medium well. Food had no taste at all.Definitely not coming back.

While the food and service were nice, the atmosphere was quite unique in the way that you actually felt like you were dining at a retirement home. Being a golf resort it lacked a little of the atmosphere it maybe should have, this is the only thing negative I have to say and really wished I didn't have to write it. The food was good and the service was quite good.

I feel as though this shouldn't be classed as a country club. The menu is a below standard pub menu and there is no table service. My partner and I both ordered the chicken parmigiana, they were like rubber and tasted off. We politely let the waiter know....and that's where the story ends. No apologies or acknowledgement from anyone. We left 2 almost full plates on the table. You can not run a successful business with young inexperienced staff. It's also very convenient that the meals have to be paid for prior to consumption.Will not be returning - very disappointed.

Food was decent but overpriced, service was fine but very casual. Atmosphere was poor, lots of unpleasant guests and kids running around yelling.

Great vibe, Great food, really good service.Would've been perfect if the service personnel hadn't come to pick the drinks glass before everyone had finished their drinks, but that's just a little thing.Also, speciak thanks to Hayden (one of the service personnel) who was really good, with a smile at all times.
