We had an intimate 10 guest wedding last weekend at North Head in Manly. Joel supplied us with some battery operated audio equipment to make the outside ceremony extra special. Not only was the equipment amazing, Joel went the extra mile to ensure we knew how to use and set it all up on the day. Everything went smoothly without a hiccup and the sound quality was amazing. Conclusion: Professional, technical, proactively helpful and a top bloke to bootWe booked a local venue from The Boathouse Group and their events team were kind enough to suggest we use Northern Beaches PA Hire.We subsequently asked Northern Beaches PA hire for help to run our Surf Club fund raiser. Despite all on short notice, Joel responded with an infectious enthusiasm and passion for our project that we really appreciated. No-one appreciates professional AV set ups but everyone comments on it when it is missing so we were stressed about the possible issues but Joel put us at ease immediately.I drove to his office and was surprised to find Joel outside his building waving at me to direct me to the best place to park. This small thing was a big thing in my mind as it demonstrated his authenticity about caring about my business.We proceeded to have an animated chat about what I should hire. Joel was upfront about costs, he proactively asked about the specific logistics of our event and then proceeded to come up with suggestions on what would work best. We ended up hiring a projector, screen, speakers, speaker stands, microphones, microphone stands and mixer. Joel patiently explained the difference between all the different items. He proactively provided powerboards and extra chords just in case anything went wrong.Despite having a shoulder injury, Joel insisted on helping carry the gear to our van.He checked in regularly via email and then floored us by sending a detailed note via email just before our event flagging his views on where he thought we should put everything down to details like where to run the chords and the sequence we should follow to ensure everything went well.It's not often you get this level of care and detail overlayed with humour, honesty and hard work.The event itself was for 150 people and the audio / video all went smoothly with sound plus video quality being top notch. Participants commented on how nice everything worked. Without doubt, this was all thanks to the quality of Joel's hardware and his advice/instructions.We fully appreciated all the hard work Joel personally put into our project and would not hesitate to recommend him for anything from large corporate events to smaller scale projects. I would argue you get a tier 1 professional experience regardless and if anything, he is under-appreciated for all the work plus passion he puts into everything.Thank you Joel. You are a deadset legend.P.S. You have completely changed what I now want for my home theatre system. This is what they mean by knowledge is pain. My budget will have to be much bigger.

If I could give a million stars I would. Joel is an absolute legend. My lack of technical knowledge, last minute requirements and not having a clue what I actually needed in terms of equipment should of drove Joel mad, but instead he was able to support me in a way that give me what I need, helped me to understand how to put my equipment together and offered support and guidance over and above what I had expected so that I wasn't so overwhelmed with all the equipment. I am actually excited now about working with Joel for future events and the professionalism that his equipment has brought into my events.
