Little Green Bicycle Art Studio & Shop

After traveling further North , we returned to Palm Cove where descriptive drawings on cardboard of corrugated iron homes from a bygone era reminded us of what we had just seen. We bought 3 wonderful momentoes of a special holiday. Thank you Natalie - you are so talented, S&D

Stopped by Palm Cove for a coffee and chanced upon this lovely artist studio, and met the artist herself! Very unique pieces of pottery and paintings. I couldn’t resist snd got myself a nice cup for Sunday morning, hand brewed coffee.

My time spent learning how to draw at The Little Green Bicycle, with lovely Natalie as my teacher, was truly fabulous! For the first time in a long time, I gave myself the time to play, to get creative, and to learn new artistic skills. I actually created the best art piece I never thought I could! Nat was patient, skilled, generous and kind; which created a safe environment that made the art class a lot of fun- perfect really, as I was pretty nervous about my amateur artist status. Nat expertly guided us step by step to creating our own masterpieces, and I left with the perfect souvenir- my self devised watercolour of the exact spot my husband proposed to me. Natalie’s class was, put simply, good for the soul, and I couldn’t recommend it more! Thank you Natalie.

The most delightful studio of the talented artist Natalie Lorentzen! Nat is a passionate creative, and one awesome human.With a nod to the beautiful natural surrounds along with hints of playful colour, her work is a joyful sight to behold. A little piece of creative heaven in Palm Cove.On a recent holiday I popped in whilst looking at all the local shops and was delighted to find a real artist in a real studio producing beautiful original works. From pottery to watercolours and mixed media, Natalie has made a beautiful little art retreat with a view to the beach. I only wish I had been there at the right time to take one of her classes. Definitely next time.

I’ve known Natalie as an artist for quite a while. Her work has matured over the years, and her water colours are simply stunning. I bought one of the prints and I live in hope that she may agree to sell me the original some day.They say some artwork speaks to you, and Natalie has managed to create a voice so loud, my heartstrings call to that particular place and time.I wish I lived closer so I could have Nat teach my kids how to express their feelings on canvas in such a way.In an infinite universe, she is one of a kind!

Nat is an amazing teacher, I loved this class. Such the perfect location to be inspired to draw. It has been years since I have draw anything and I was a little nervous. Nat made me realise the meditative quality of drawing and I have found my love of it again. Thank you!

It was a very happy day when I found Natalie to commission her to copy a painting my parents originally commissioned in Sept 1961 of the pub they ran and which was our family home in Dorset in the UK and of which my two siblings and I have many happy early childhood memories. I wanted this as a present for my sister who still lives still in the same town but time has been very unkind to the original. I am absolutely delighted with the result and painted 60 years later to the month! Natalie suggested high quality prints for my brother and I (but you cannot tell the difference between them). My brother, also still in our hometown, moves into his new house within the week and has said this is going to take pride of place (as is mine). It was a delight to have Natalie do this project. She was always very aware of the emotional memories and ties with the pub (which is sadly no longer standing) and was very respectful of them - the family are more than delighted and so am I. Thank you Natalie.

Love these little green cups! Just the right size for cups of tea and coffee, no more half empty cups of cold tea! Also love my botanical cup - I'm sure tea and water taste better out of this cup! Thanks Natalie!
