We are so grateful to Dr Nela for her generous sharing of her knowledge and time and training of our whole family (including 2 x kids, 12 and 10 years old) to be puppy parents!Dr Nela trouble shooted countless puppy questions/problems over months and been SO patient, kind and extremely helpful to us!We can not thank her enough for getting us off to a flying start and helping us to understand, care for, train and fall even more in love with our puppy, Chester.

Nela is awesome. You can often find trainers who are knowledgeable, passionate and care about animals. Nela is all of this and more. She is down to earth and practical and understands that people are busy. With Nela and her team's help we've been able to help our puppy adjust to busy family life in a calm way and we now have the tools to ensure that she becomes a harmonious family member. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

I feel there was too much focus on medicating my dog and making him a zombie than actual long term solutions. During the highly expensive treatment process with calm companions where recommendations always incurred continuous fees (e.g. you need to buy medication A as well as B, C and D and then your dog will be better). Just felt like a bit of a money making scheme where they scare you into over medicating your dog. Once I stopped the medications and tried alternative methods, I saw a vast improvement to my dog and his behaviour.

I highly recommend Dr Nela and her Veterinary Nurse Dee. They are a fantastic team and do excellent work. They truly care about your pet, and take the time to dig deep and understand what's really going on for the animal. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Calm Companions and highly recommend their veterinary services.We have had our dog there for a major operation (in which they gave outstanding care and love and attention to my dog) and called me and messaged me with regular updates even well after the operation to check in on him. We have taken our dog there for several visits for other treatments as well and the service has been excellent. Highly recommend.

We were about to give up on our super-anxious little doggie Frankie, but he's improved in leaps and bounds. I highly recommended Dr Nela. She's probably the best there is in terms of understanding why your dog does what it does and how to help it do what it should be doing. She really knows her business, loves dogs, and wants the best for you and your pooch. If you do what she tells you and stick with it, you and your pet will both be a whole lot happier.
