Novotel Darwin Airport

Stayed here for one night waiting for a flight to Perth the next day as it is only a seven minute walk to the airport. The staff on reception were friendly and allowed me to store my bag until my room was ready, in this case three hours.The room I stayed in was large with two double bed, even though I was a solo traveler. Which I may add was very comfortable. As you would expect came with air-conditioning and ceiling fan.The bathroom was also big and impressive and as you would expect from a four star hotel very clean, same went for the room.When it comes to dining this being an Accor hotel you have the choice of dining in the Hotel or in its sister hotel right behind the hotel.Had dinner in the Novotel in its Cossies Bar & Bistro a large well laid out room with large glass doors leaning to the bar, outside seating and the pool. The meal was of a high standard and very tasty. As for price it wasn't to expensive bearing in mind the location.Breakfast was partaken in the Mercure hotel. From the moment you walk in your wowed by how much better the hotel is than the Novotel with its tropical look. In this hotel the breakfast is buffet style compared to the ala- cart menu in the NovotelOn the booking it tells you there is building works all around the Novotel hotel as they turn the area into one big resort. From what I can see and imagine this will be a wonderful place to stay when finished latter in 2023.If I come back this way I will definitely stay here again, but probably in the Mercure.

They refused that i have paid booking from jetstar. So I have to pay again. Worst receptionist n customer service. Dont pay them in advance! They even charged me twice when they said they r going to refund me as below. For one room i have paid three times. unbelievable!!

Rooms are dirty and feels like your in the 60’s. Raining and must eat food at another venue. No cable. Aircon barely works and dirty. Never coming back.

Stayed here on a layover in Darwin. Do yourself a favour and book the Mercure next door. The Novotel at Darwin Airport felt very sterile and dated. Went to the Mercure for breakfast and it was much nicer and when I was booking it was showing up same price as the Novotel.

Very convenient location only a 5 minute walk to the airport terminal. Rooms are clean but some are dated. Currently there is a site wide revamp happening.

The perfect stopover, a few minutes from the airport. A very good gym setup, nice meeting facilities and very well-appointed rooms.The renovation plan looks incredible.

Paid $420 for 1 night & convenience to airport. Overpriced. Rooms clean but very dated. The hallways echoe every sound especially when people slam doors, belt on doors yelling to be let in & run up the hall. Arrived after an o/seas flight & got no sleep. Next time, taxi into city, hopefully a lot quieter.

Less than a kilometre from Darwin Airport entrance.The good thing is the room is well maintained and clean. But nothing mentioned about construction, when you booked the hotel. It's very noisy during the day.

A difficult registration (not the fault of the hotel) was made much smoother than expected due to the friendly, helpful nature of Manon at the front desk. Manon offers the sort of welcome anyone would appreciate. A credit to the hotel and Manon herself. Thank you again.

Rooms and service are ok. Earthmovers will wake you nice and early. Conveniently right next to darwin airport
