UniLodge School Street Studios - Student Accommodation Kelvin Grove

I have lived here for just over a year and can honestly say it was a great experience especially for someone who is new to living away from family. The residents are friendly and willing to strike up a conversation, the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond their duties to make sure that everything is running smoothly, and the facility is generally just a very chill place to come back to and relax without noisy and disruptive roommates/neighbours. It's also super close to everything you need (uni, shops, city, bike paths). Special shout out to Heinrich the customer service manager for always being professional and hardworking to get your issues solved quickly. He's also just a breath of fresh air to talk to whenever I'm down at the office (when he's free).

Living here is awesome! Would highly recommend to any uni student, especially if you're studying at QUT- given that it's so close to the Kelvin Grove village. This place has very nice vibes, it's a safe environment and the events they host here are quite fun and a great way to make new friends! If you're moving away from home and living by yourself for the first time, I would definitely say that this is one of the best places to meet nice people. The staff here are not only very friendly and welcoming but they're very helpful as well- especially the customer service coordinator (Heinrich) down on level one- he is an absolute legend, whether you want to address an issue with your living space or just want to play some pool and have a chat- he's your go to. Super reliable and just cool to chat with. Overall, this place is great, it's convenient, it's safe and it's comfortable so uni student tap in.

I’ve lived here for 8 months and my experience of Uni Lodge School Street Studios has been a very positive one. Kelvin Grove is a lovely suburb and I’ve never felt safer. The building Is very secure and everyone is so friendly. I’ve made numerous friends with other residents. They have all made me feel very welcome and the building manager especially has gone out of her way to make my experience a positive and exciting one.

UniLodge is a very safe and friendly environment which provides many opportunities for residents to socialise and have fun together at their events! Would definitely recommend to anyone who has just moved away from home for Uni as it is a great place to start!

UniLodge School Street Studios is a genuinely lovely accommodation. Firstly, it is positively well managed. Showing a great position respective to the Brisbane QLD CBD and QUT Kelvin Grove Campus, this modern setting thoughtfully maintained offers many creature comforts: Wi-Fi, Energy, and a managed Social atmosphere. I’ve called UniLodge School Street home for more than 2 years whilst I’ve been studying. There are many aspects of the community that I love. Waking up to the sounds of native rainbow lorikeets in the morning from the park right outside the balcony will be something I will truly miss when I graduate and move out. There are regular community activities run by the UniLodge staff such as trivia or games nights which also usually involves lots of food too! There’s a BBQ area down the side that is always well looked after and communal area with table tennis, a TV, books, games and a snack & beverages vending machine for those late night cravings! I really couldn’t recommend UniLodge School Street highly enough for anyone studying here at QUT Kelvin Grove.

Unilodge School Street Studios is perfect for anyone who wants to live near QUT Kelvin Grove. It is also close to shops and bus routes inbound to Brisbane CBD. I found the community great to be a part of, and felt right at home after moving away for university. The events here are enjoyable. I highly recommend this student accommodation to anyone who wants there own place, but still want a sense of community!

I've been living here for over a year, and all I have to say is that it is one of the best student accommodations out there. It's safe, quiet and cozy. The fact that it is a low density building is a huge plus because you tend to know who your neighbors are. RAs and manager are top notch as they're very friendly and helpful. The gatherings they hold weekly for us really helps us get away from study stress. You get your own unofficial counselor living here! As much as you get the opportunity to know your neighbours, you have the privacy of your own studio when you'd like to have quiet alone time. Lastly, its location is pretty strategic ; located steps away from the QUT KG campus, bus stops and the KG village market.

An excellent place to live, great community, building isn't too loud. I've made some great friends in my time living here. The events are always fun and innovative and the building is clean and well looked after. Perfect place to live for a uni student with many excellent places to study including a huge desk in every privet room. A surprisingly huge amount of storage. The building manager is always happy to help with any problems and they are always rectified within the week. Extremely secure, perfect for your first time living out of home. I have and will continue to recommend this to anyone looking for a place while they study at QUT or other nearby uni's or TAFE.

Amazing location, right in the heart of Kelvin Grove and close to everything! The Staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful, and the studios are very cozy, with a lot of storage. As an international student, I was able to adapt quickly thanks to Unilodge's community and the various events organised each month. Highly recommend!
