I have nothing but praise for Albert & Meyer. Both of my parent's funerals have been conducted through them and the service is exceptional. Nothing is a problem for the staff, they are kind, warm and empathetic. The process of planning a funeral is carefully and clearly explained, all costs are upfront. Thank you so much. The streaming went without any issues, and the In Memoriam video that my sister had put together played without difficulty.

Our family had a great experience with Albert & Meyer. Jono particularly was very caring and supportive during my Grandma's funeral. He was helpful leading up to the funeral and during it. He made the experience much easier during that difficult time. Definitely recommend using Albert & Meyer.

I have had funerals arranged and conducted for both my father in 2008 and 4 weeks ago for my brother. The service at Albert and Meyer was nothing short of outstanding on both occasions. I was assisted in this process by Rebecca. The calm, caring and compassionate information provided was not only appropriate but so welcome at such a devastating time. Rebecca’s personal touches via suggestions that she made, have had people who I had never previously met, that were friends of my brother, commenting on how fitting and appropriate his funeral was. These people were saying it was “the best funeral” they had attended. The words “thank you” are simply not sufficient. I will forever be grateful to Rebecca and her team at Albert and Meyer and could not recommend them more highly.

My sister and I are very grateful for the caring service we received from Leanne and the team, losing our mum has been the one of the hardest moments in our lives. Without hesitation we would recommend Albert and Meyer.

Albert & Meyer were fantastic with working through the whole process of organising my dads funeral.They were kind, Caring and patient with me as sorted through the arrangements.I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them as they even followed up well after the funeral to see how I was going.

I attended a funeral last week for a 90-year old. The Chapel itself is lovely and the Albert & Meyer staff were very helpful and friendly. My one concern is the lack of a lift for guests. We were invited to a morning tea after the service in the Amber Room (upstairs). As many who attend funerals are elderly, the lack of a lift seems odd. I watched several elderly residents really grapple with the choice of making their own way up the stairs OR being placed one at a time on the stair chair-lift. I did have conversations with several elderly guests who were surprised at the lack of a lift. With my background in Residential Aged Care, I believe the lack of a lift is not optimal for those with diminishing physical abilities. The choice presented could be viewed as somewhat humiliating and demeaning.

On the morning of 8th September 2021, a single phone call to Rebecca Pincott led to the most fitting farewell for my Dearest Mum. The challenges organising a funeral during Covid restrictions was made easy, as Rebecca took care of everything, from taking personal responsibility for Mum, to the arranging the service so that family and friends across the globe could share and be with us during this sad and difficult time. Rebecca's adherence to our traditional needs during the service was most appreciated!Paul W from the media division was both accomodating and meticulous in preparing the memorial brochure... a keepsake that is beautiful and captures who my Mum will always be remembered as! Thank you, Paul!It has taken me over a year to pen this, but my gratitude to Rebecca and her team is as heartfelt has it was during that difficult week...my family and I will always remember how very supportive everyone was to us.'Thank you' are simple words, but they mean so much more in regards to our experience with Albert and Meyer.

What can I say. Funerals are difficult times. They did an adequate job. I think they didn't explain some of their costs and procedures adequately from the outset, and may inadvertently obfuscated some. Their final price seemed a little high to everyone I've asked. I did not find them overly supportive nor sympathetic. Advice to anyone, especially the gentle and naive ones, ask the ugly questions before the day if possible (not always in our control) and if not make sure you do on the day (no matter how much it sucks to do that 2 days after your mother dies), be mercenary, be direct, be absolutely sure you get exactly what you want and expect. I'm sure there are excellent 5 star experiences to be had out there, looking forward to having one next time. I wish you all a long and happy life.
