Platypus Walk
A nice walk before or after visiting Hastings caves. Lots of wildlife and definitely platypus swimming in the water. The track also meets up with the Hot Springs track where two different temperature streams meet. Smart bridges, viewing platforms and close to nature.

If you wanna see platypus in the wild you most likely will here,, we stopped here on the way to tahune, ask the info centre for a map and they will tell you where to look,The platypus look outUnder the bridge near the look out and the foot bridge near the Arve treeI didn't get any good pics but did see 4 or more 1 of which swam directly past me
