Semaphore Greek Festival
Back to the drawing board for reduction of line ups. 40 minutes in line for dessert, to get to the front of the line and be told there's no baklava left. Should have been no issue. Can I get a loukoumades from the stack 50cm away? No. Go to the back of the line (40m long) along side. No simple sign up saying sold out, for the out of stock sweets. Just arrogant rudeness from the stall server. Very unfortunate. Won't be returning.

Sadly a very hot day, the crowds were not there. We wanted to buy 2 different Desserts, had to go to a different cash register? Is the proceeds going to different folks? The creme kataifi was undersized, could have saved my petrol and gone to KP and got a decent serve. The yiros I could have stopped at Pt Adelaide and got a yiros for much less. Think the spirit of the Greek Festival is lost. It seems more about the money, not putting in the work to make the specialities, they just want buy the product and on-sell.

Great atmosphere and the community did a fantastic job of organising. It'd be great if there was an opportunity to have more of the cultural aspect on display and that we could have got involved with.

Mini golf is cheap but they're very small and simple courses. Two of us went through the 9 holes in 20 minutes.

Had a great time, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was super friendly and happy with so many families jumping up to dance to the live music. A few more stalls would have been nice but overall it was a nice way to spend a few hours with a bunch of happy strangers all sharing a great moment and their smiles.

Semaphore Greek Festival
The annual event in January is always a great one. Lots of yummy food. Crowds of people all happy to be there and out for a fun time. The music/ band can be a bit loud, but maybe I'm just the of one out on that. The dancing displays are fun to watch.Must try the yiros, and the deserts are super yummy.

It was a quiet evening and the place was very clean. Easy access to all the facilities. It was nice just to relax and have a break after hard working day.
