Kennedys Electrical–Spare Parts & Service
Don't waste your time. They replaced the internal door on my dishwasher as it was leaking. 6 months later the bottom seal has come away (which was part of what they replaced). They advise that to fix, the door is covered under warranty, but their labour charge is not! Absolute joke.

WAM Electrical
I am extremely disappointed with the service we've received from WAM. They were assigned to us to come out to fix our dryer back in March as part of a warranty claim. The first time they came out, I was asked to help lift the dryer off of the washing machine and the technician insisted me to do so even when I said that I couldn't (I am a VERY petite girl). I was then asked to help lift the dryer back up into place. A dryer is a two-man lift and the customer should not be asked to help with this. 2 technicians should be coming out or the technician should have a lifter tool to help him lift it on/off safely. It was by pure luck that we had a male visitor come by who could help him lift it. What would have been done by WAM if he wasn't there to help? After the technician came and 'fixed' the dryer, it started leaking on every use, which was not the original problem. I had to then contact the dryer company again, and WAM was assigned again to come out and fix the unit in June.I received a call only an hour before hand (absolutely no notice on the date) that a technician would be coming out in the next hour. I told the person on the phone that they can't expect a customer to be able to be home with only an hour notice, during a work day. She then told me to call back to confirm whether I could get someone to be home. The technician came out and we got told that there was a problem with the pump and someone would come out to replace it the next day. I made sure someone would be home, but no one contacted me or came the next day. Upon contacting WAM, they insisted that both the initial person who called me would have asked me if they could come rather then tell me (she didn't, she simply told me they were coming, until I complained and said you need to give notice and that I didn't know if I could get someone to be home). He also denied what the technician said and said that the technician would not have stated that he would be back the next day to fix it. Again, he definitely did. He then told me that they gave no update as they needed to wait for the dryer company to get back to them and again, kept denying that the technician would tell us he would be back the next day to fix it.After contacting the dryer company again, they mentioned that this particular company aren't great to deal with and that their diagnosis seemed over the top. They re-assigned us to another company who then came out and fixed the unit the following week.Absolutely awful experience in the end. Mistakes can happen, but it's poor form when a company denies everything they did rather than taking responsibility for it, admitting fault and apologising for it.

Cirvin Pty Ltd
Needed a small repair to the wiring in my oven. Vince was responsive to communicate with beforehand and did the job that was requested and more.As always, get a quote beforehand and clear communication from everyone helps. Vince was a bit surprised that my 'old' oven was closer to 40 than 10 years old.

Camtec Appliances
NEVER. BOOK. WITH. THEM. After waiting for a warranty repair of a fridge at at our home address which took 3+ weeks to attend, they failed to show up on multiple occasions. As you can imagine it was so disruptive (and expensive) not having a fridge in your house for THREE WEEKS. Originally Camtec said they would put the status as ‘urgent’ because it was not working at all and we didn’t have a back up fridge. For a few days we ordered takeaway for every.single.meal thinking it would only be a mater of days. 5 days went past, and we started to use a mini in-car fridge just to keep some essentials cold. After three long weeks we were forced to buy a brand new fridge (NOT SAMSUNG) as we have no luck securing a Camtec technician. We couldn’t use another warranty agent, as the fridge was under 12 months old and had already failed twice previously. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe staff had Covid or maybe because the weather was so hot they were snowed under or because we lived a little outside the CBD, but clearly it is company policy to take unlimited service calls and have absolutely no intention of actually attending in a timely manner or having any sort of communication with the client. It is especially frustrating when a call is said to be booked in between 8am and 1pm on a particular date and you have another day off work to meet the technician and then no one shows up. No phone call. No apology. The obvious next step is to ask to speak with the manager but don’t bother as the typical response is that the manager is ‘on another call’ or ‘in a meeting’ and they will call you by 5pm. You are left wondering if you should hang around home in case they show up or head back to work to not completely waste another day. Of course, the ‘manager’ never phones back and if you call again to get an update or make a complaint, you are again told someone will call back by 5pm, which they don’t.Fast forward to 7 days ago when I placed a service call for a fridge not working at my business address, stupidly forgetting it was this same company which Samsung referred us to last time. My service call was taken and I was advised a charge would apply because the fridge was out of warranty and I agreed to the charge. The service coordinator advised me the technicians were fully booked for the week, but they could schedule it in for Monday for between 8am and 1pm. Seven days to wait for a technician to attend is kind of inconvenient to be without a working fridge but I agreed and the credit card details were taken to secure the booking. I advised Camtec that I will be away in QLD on the 6th Feb but I would get someone to meet the technician there. With my parents also away, my partner had one of his staff members go to the business address today to meet the technician. 5 hours had passed and 1pm came and went. Again…no technician. I phoned Camtec and they advised, no, in fact it was booked for NEXT Monday. The exact same story that was told to us when they kept no showing to our home address. So if it was in fact booked for the 14th Feb, when I booked it they should have said we are fully booked for TWO WEEKS? They had no answer except to say that it was booked for the 14th and when I asked to listen to the recording to verify they hung up on me! As you can imagine my blood was boiling as it was a huge favour asking someone to wait around (in paid time) for this technician that never even arrived. My advice would be to not buy a Samsung fridge in the beginning as they are not reliable. Three Samsung fridges have now completely failed within 2 years. I would assume at least 5 years life span for a $2k-$3K purchase.Secondly, if Samsung want to put a warranty service call to Camtec, refuse so you can spare yourself this awful and very unprofessional experience. I am sure that there are much more reliable and lovely local service agents in Adelaide.

Camtec Service & Parts
Beware of SCAM-Tec.They will lock in a service or repair only if you provide your credit card details over the phone, this is the first trap. They claim it’s to secure a booking but it’s to ensure they can charge you irrespective of whether they do or DON’T carry out works on your appliance. My experience - Camtec were unable to assist with my air con service, however proceeded to remove a full service fee from my credit card without my knowledge or consent, i then had a battle getting a portion of my money returned many weeks later, the money they withheld was for a call out charge something they didn’t disclose to me during the booking process.Camtec admitted they DID NOT informed me they have call out charges and DID NOT receive consent to charge my credit card nor disclose they were doing so, however will not return the money they took, instead offering to complete the original air con service they previously told me they weren’t able to do?!Avoid Camtec - The family business that admit they misinform their customers and are happy to operate under unethical practices.

MR SHAVER SHOP
The worst possible experience dealing with this store. I wrote a review about it in 2013 but somehow its been deleted. This is a true account of my dealings with them and I highly recommend you go elsewhere particularly if you are interstate. In no way did they ever apologise for the poor customer service and treatment I (and my husband) received. Both the owners wouldn't let me speak whenever I mentioned my name. I even had my husband call up thinking he would get a better response... Nope. He called me back and laughed at how rude they were to him when he hadn't ever dealt with them before.I originally asked for an item that was LISTED on their website. I advised via phone and email of the time constraints (as it was a present for my husband). They took no notice of this and I had to call them twice to get an update on my order only to be told they didn't have that item anymore and would I like another that is the same?It was NOT the same and to top it off it was LATE to arrive, even though I emphasized numerous times the date I needed it by.For something that cost $100 you would expect better service. The product was NOT as described and a serious lack of information provided on the phone when my original order could not be fulfilled. They would NOT accept a return even though I was prepared to pay the postage back to WA.An utterly horrible experience.

Clelia is the best Thermomix consultant! During the demonstration, she cooked with such enthusiasm not only due to the amazing product that TM6 is, but for the real satisfaction of offering homemade and tasteful food. She explained all the steps, provided ideas and shared all her knowledge on using the Thermomix. Super professional and a joy to cook with. We love our TM6, we are using it every day (if not every meal!) and I can say confidently this was a fantastic family investment. Thank you to Clelia!
