Old Vasse Trout & Marron Farm
Good stop over if you’re looking for an activity to do while you’re in Pemberton. Customer service is average. Expect to spend $20 for rod hire and about 2 hours to catch trout. The caught trout is weighed and you pay for the weight of trout you bring in. They clean and pack it for you to take home. Good experience if you like fishing.

Australian Sweetwater Crays
Stayed at the onsite camping spot for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed not only the peaceful water’s edge position but also of course, the crays: BBQ’d for a lunch and the next day day, done in a mild garlic-chilli pasta dish for a dinner. It doesnt come any more fresh than straight out of water. It’s a credit to Alex and family that entrepreneurial gems like this are getting off the ground and delivering great agricultural products for us all to enjoy.
