We had a great time with friends here hiring a casual court on Sunday night. Need to pre-arrange 2 days or more ahead so they can make sure the courts are open and ready. The sand is fine and soft, the balls are pumped up right and there are brushes to get the sand off your feet. Tables and chairs provided too as well as a umpire's stand with a scoreboard you can flip to keep score.

This venue has some of the worst umpiring I've seen across volleyball in Perth, from other indoor beach comps, outdoor beach & indoor court. Almost every set is call a double unless its performed at a very high level (this is a social competition). I've played here for about 10 weeks now and its pretty clear that the umpires need actual training on the rules of beach volleyball on what is consider a double and what is a lift/carry. My biggest problem is that for new players its impossible to improve one of the most vital skills (the set) because they are afraid to get called for a double almost every time. It is not just one umpire here either i have experienced this with multiple.Something to note, i have played volleyball for years including at the elite level of indoor court and i have never seen umpiring this bad in all the years I've played. If you are a new player looking to get into volleyball this is not the venue for you.

Rebound Indoor Beach Volleyball
Great crowd and a safe place for both beginners and seasoned players to continue developing mad volley skills. Management and players reinforce good behaviour which you don't see in some more elite venues

I messaged SCBV when i was visiting the sunny coast and they were super welcoming to me. Asked me along to one of their training sessions and put me in touch with people for a match. Would recommend if you're ever in the area.
