Bowling club

We enjoyed a really lovely lunch here last Sunday for 13 of us. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. We were all very happy with our meals, and we also took a birthday cake which they were more than happy to store and bring out with plates and cutlery at the appropriate time. We couldn't have been happier with the experience.

The Club was completely sold out for the event. The staff were very busy serving customers and they could done with some more hands. Although the staff were very helpful and need to be acknowledged. The music and band were very, very loud, almost to the sound jarring in the ears. Quite a number of us choose to move to another room where the sound of the music was controllable and Not So Loud. Apart from this it was a friendly atmosphere with understanding from customers, patrons and staff and the organisers of the event that did a great job. Thank you.

How can I experience something that's closed. This bowling club needs to be given a new lease of life. Candelo is a beautiful place.

The food operation here is absolutely appalling. The lease holders operating the kitchen are completely out of their league during high volume.There was a big cue so I expected a wait time but was not advised of any when I ordered.After an hour I asked the person on the counter to check my docket and to let me how much longer it would take. He returned to say he checked the docket with the kitchen and it wouldn't be long. After another 30 minutes I checked again only to find out they didn't even have a docket, which concludes there was no check prior.They checked my order against the reprinted docket only to get it all wrong on 3 dishes.There was no one in control, poor kids running around stressed doing their best with no support from anyone with a management presence an the pass or till.The club manager kindly returned my money in the end (thank you) this should of come from the food operator but they too busy putting out other fires created by them going missing in peak trade.The food going was poorly presented looking rushed and slapped together. The cutlery was filthy. If you're not going to polish at least clean them properly.Plenty of staff on, just no leadership or direction.The renovation looks great. No point in spending all that money making the place look so good if you can't back it up with a decent product.

I joined the gym recently with a 12 month membership. One of the best investments I have ever made! The owners Trish and Wayne are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. The equipment is all that I will ever need and plenty of it. I have not used all the other facilities on offer, however when my grandchildren come for a visit there will be no problem keeping them occupied. This is a bowling club. Okay, once you have the decor and vibe in mind, then prepare to be impressed by the food.Best country/Aussie Chinese food I've had, you can tell when they have good cooking techniques. There was delicious 'wok breath' and well balanced flavours in all the dishes. The char sui noodles were my favourite but the fried rice was also good. Dishes came out promptly and without fuss. The only thing I wished was that there were more noodles, it was mostly pork (so good value but I'm used to more noodles).

Visited before school started, played the mini golf, very expensive for a 10 hole indoor course. It was very hot in there, no air con no fan. I'm just being nice and give it 3 stars.

Old timers showed me the ropes. A fun time was had. I'll be back again
