I enjoyed the atmosphere, service, drinks and food that I had tonight. It was nice to sit outside overlooking the pool and out to the ocean and Magnetic Island. The servers were friendly and food was of good quality, and well portioned. The price while I thought a little high, was in fairness, pretty good considering the overall surroundings and service offered.I'll go again and take fronds visiting Townsville there as well.

Extremely close to Darwin City, and to the beautiful Mindil Beach, MBCR is truly a lovely place to stay. The whole place is so well air conditioned in summer and the pool so lovely. I stayed in the Deluxe King which had loads of space and a really powerful hot shower. Aircon can be adjusted from room to room.The reception team are super welcoming and can help me out with everything. Nice inside walkways between casino and hotel and super easy to get to the pool. Adding breakfast onto your stay is recommended as their isn't much around unless you go into Darwin City.

Great service however I have come down from Queensland to help a family member with a flood clean up and I have been frequenting the Pretoria and got hooked into the Coopers Hoodie draw. I came down tonight at 5:30pm for a drink, some pool games and some nibbles. I have been asking about the draw and the bar staff told me it was happening. It is now 8:00pm, I have heard no announcements - poorly managed I feel.

Food not bad and there is a wide selection. Mostly all service is good here. It is designed for the older locals. If you are younger and want a good time, maybe eat here then go some place else.

Food was pretty good on each visit, but lately the salads they serve with the meals is basically a bit of greenery and if you are lucky, a 5mm section of tomato may be included. Not good enough in my books for it be called a salad. If your short of tomatoes there is a Coles down the road at a reasonable price.

Only dropped in for a quick drink. Great atmosphere. Staff friendly. Nice views to the Murray River
