Echo Point Hut
We took the ferry to Echo point and walked back to the visitor centre. It’s 11.5km according to Apple Watch, longer than advertised. We saw snakes in two instances. Recommend to take the walk early in summer while it’s still cool and avoid walking during the hotter hours when snakes could be out and about. If you haven’t done so yet, chat to the people at the visitors centre regarding how to deal with encounters with snakes prior to attempting the walk.

Lord Somers Camp
Was a great time for our son who had Year 12 camp with his school mates, the start of Feb 2021. Thanks. The only minor negative was they would have loved to stand up paddleboard further out & away from where they did it.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Torquay Palms
Wow, what a little gem Torquay Palms turned out to be. Our experience from beginning to end with the staff was friendly and respectful. The gardens well kept, the accommodation modern, clean, beautifully decorated with all the amenities and bits and pieces provided. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Biloela Caravan Park
We stayed 2 nights in a cabin during the Flourish Multicultural Festival. Managers Mary & Jack were friendly & helpful. The only reason I haven't award 5-stars is the somewhat noisy a/c in the living area. The bedroom unit though is a split system & quiet. The cabin was clean & well equipped.BTW, the free festival event was excellent & well represented the wonderful community in Biloela.

Paperbark Camp
This place is amazing. Service is probably the highlight, with delicious food and lovely staff. We were pleasantly surprised with every thoughtful thing they did. From packed lunches, thermos' of hot water for cups of tea and mosquito repellent everywhere you looked, they really thought of everything! Thankyou for a blissful stay in a beautiful tent.
