Chinese language school

I have just begun learning Chinese at JIC, so far it has been a great experience! Small class sizes allow for everyone to participate and receive one on one support from the teachers. I can’t wait to continue my learning journey with JIC!

My daughter commenced classes at JIC and, she enjoys the interactive teaching approach that encourages students to speak and practice their speaking skills.This teaching method is effective because it allows each student to practice their speaking skills and receive individualised feedback.The teachers are also very welcoming and friendly.

Alex is an incredibly friendly, humble and experienced teacher. He is constantly adapting the class to the students and checking in on our progress. His focus is learning properly with the aim to both read and speak like a native. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been studying Chinese at HSK1 level and now HSK 2 with Ken for almost 12 months and has enjoyed the course and the tuition immensely. Ken is an excellent teacher with vast experience, and I have total confidence that my daughter is getting the best tuition in Brisbane. After our school removed Chinese from their curriculum offering, we started group classes with Lyrebird and haven't looked back. I would recommend this school to anyone who is wanting to learn Chinese for pleasure or to support their formal studies. Elli is also a wonderful teacher and supporter.

I had 6 months of Mandarin lessons with Candy and found her to be a wonderful teacher. Each lesson was well-structured and easy to understand. She is patient, kind and understanding. I can’t recommend her more highly!

I have been having Mandarin lessons with Larita for over 6 months now and I have been loving it. Larita is very patient, flexible and has a lot of experience tutoring. I have been able to improve my Mandarin with only one lesson per week which I haven't been able to do with any other classes in the past. I'd recommend Journey Chinese to any anyone who's looking at learning Mandarin or wanting to improve their Mandarin at a higher level.

SALA is a Chinese language learning centre catering for basic to intermediate levels of learning with classes ranging from prep to adult.I like that the students get to enjoy formal lessons, as well as informal guidance on Chinese culture and folklore. Various Chinese festivals are celebrated on-site throughout the year - very exciting for the children.If you're looking for a Chinese language centre, I would highly recommend SALA.

Studying Dutch at IML was an amazing experience during my semester abroad. You will find a variety of present day languages and experienced staff.
