Clock watch maker

If I could give less than one star I would, unfortunately a very negative experience with Wallace Bishop Carindale. My watch had a flat battery and was dropped off on the 11th of that month. The staff said it would be ready in a week and we paid up front $215. A week passed and I was confident that the watch must be ready so we contacted Wallace Bishop twice and both times they said they would call back and they never did.We then left it for a week thinking that it must be ready, when I spoke with them they said it would not be ready for another week and that we would be able to pick it up next month! I left it and rang again in a couple of weeks only to be informed that it was still not ready. Again promises were made by Wallace Bishop that they would ring and they never did. Eventually almost a month to the day the watch was ready to be picked up. When I picked it up, the repairs manager stated that the glass face of the watch had been broken by them but it had been repaired, as though that was something to be grateful for. To summarise, I would not recommend Wallace Bishop to have your watched fixed, save yourself a whole lot of time and hassle and go to your local jeweler, who will probably do it in half the time, at half the price and will not require you to pay upfront for poor service.

After a so-so experience at North Lakes, I was thrilled at the great service I received at Chermside from (self professed new hire) Remick.Admittedly, Wallace Bishops returns policies are a lot more restrictive than a lot of other jewellery retailers (you'll win A LOT more sales in gift giving season if people don't need to be afraid of being out of pocket when the gift is not liked by the recipient), but after Remicks amazing help I'll likely be coming back very soon in any case.EDIT: Came back, this time I was assisted by Erika. I can see why she is store manager - she was so helpful, more personable than staff at the other jewellers, and she made sure everything was solved for me. She is the sort of person who should be manager, and strongly recommend considering her for any higher roles if they come up. She's a credit to the industry and to your business.

Went in to fix an older watch, walked out with a new one. Excellent customer service from DotStaff were lovely and helpful fixed a busted spring lug that I tried to do myself free of charge.As with any setting treat people with respect and you will receive it in return no matter how much money you are throwing around as a customer it doesn't excuse your own behaviour towards people in a retail store.Much love to the team, loving the new TAG Heuer connected thanks for the deal I will be back.

Visited this shop 2 weeks ago to purchase a bracelet. After shopping around with other jewellers for similar items I came back and saved approximately $200. So grateful to the saleswoman who assisted me and took out a lot of the pain for someone who doesn't buy a lot of jewellery. By the way she loved it! Many thanks.....

I was so pleased to get my Cobb and Co clock repaired as it was so hard to find someone to help me. The friendly and efficient service was such a high standard and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Very rude manager, I purchased my $800.00 watch via the internet.

When collecting my order, the lady serving us was quite rude. She said they called 5 days ago but there was no answer. Very interesting that they call you with a private number and then hang up after 10 seconds without leaving any messages or voicemail which wouldn't be possible since they didn't even let the call go for long enough to get there.I mentioned that I was about to answer but they hung up so quickly and she replied with yeah. Can't be on the phone all day." She even acknowledged that she knew they were calling from a private number... For a business. We found that kind of ridiculous."

When you first walk into Omega's showroom, it is hard to distinguish one timepiece from another. The sheer number and variety of watches all seemlessly crafted for your wrist make this place feel like an adventure in itself!I found my perfect watch when I met Joe - who has an impressive knowledge of watches and listened to what I want. He showed me the 'No Time To Die' James Bond watch and I knew I needed to buy it straight away. Now, nearly 7 months later and I still absolutely love this watch and have added additional Omega pieces to my collection, including the Speedmaster. Will definitely be adding more in the near future - I am thinking an Aqua Terra.Thank you again for helping me Joe.
