went to this school for a few years. Teachers were good at teaching (some of them) but they let other stuff fall. Very cliquey school with a toxic past of disturbing behaviors

Kilvington Grammar School
Kilvington Grammar School is undeniably an esteemed educational institution, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. While the school boasts numerous merits, there are aspects that warrant consideration for improvement. Specifically, the early start time and the duration of the school day, which can potentially impact student well-being and learning outcomes. By reassessing these factors, Kilvington Grammar School can enhance the overall student experience and create a more conducive learning environment. The Consequences of Early Start Times:One prominent issue that warrants attention is the early start time of Kilvington Grammar School. Research has consistently shown that adolescents undergo significant changes in their sleep patterns during puberty, resulting in a delayed sleep-wake cycle. Consequently, early start times can disrupt their natural sleep patterns, leading to sleep deprivation. This, in turn, can have detrimental effects on students' physical and mental health, cognitive abilities, and overall academic performance.Adequate sleep is crucial for concentration, memory consolidation, and information processing, all of which are vital for effective learning. By starting the school day later, Kilvington Grammar School can align with the natural sleep patterns of its students, enabling them to arrive at school well-rested and better prepared to engage in learning activities. Such a change would result in improved attention spans, enhanced cognitive function, and increased overall productivity. The Prolonged School Day:Another aspect that requires consideration is the duration of the school day. While longer hours may be intended to provide additional educational opportunities, it is important to strike a balance between academic pursuits and the well-being of students. Extended school days can lead to fatigue and burnout, diminishing students' enthusiasm and engagement. It is crucial to recognize that young minds need time for leisure, physical activity, and personal development. By reducing the length of the school day, Kilvington Grammar School can provide students with valuable opportunities to pursue extracurricular interests, engage in community service, or simply unwind and rejuvenate. This holistic approach to education fosters the development of well-rounded individuals and promotes a healthy work-life balance.Implementing Strategies for Improvement:To address these concerns and enhance the Kilvington Grammar School experience, several strategies can be implemented. Firstly, conducting thorough research and gathering feedback from students, parents, and teachers regarding the impact of early start times and extended school days can help establish a comprehensive understanding of the issue.Subsequently, based on the research findings and feedback, the school administration can consider adjusting the school schedule. Collaborating with sleep experts and educators, they can develop a modified timetable that aligns with students' natural sleep patterns and optimizes their learning potential.Additionally, the school can focus on streamlining the curriculum and prioritizing key learning objectives, ensuring that essential topics are covered while allowing sufficient time for students' personal growth and development. This can be achieved through efficient lesson planning and effective time management.Furthermore, Kilvington Grammar School can explore creative alternatives to the traditional school day structure. Introducing flexible scheduling, where students have the opportunity to engage in self-directed learning or pursue individual interests, can foster a sense of ownership and autonomy, leading to greater motivation and personal growth.

Mandurah Baptist College
My child is thriving at Mandurah Baptist College and he has blossomed in the care of his teachers. He and his friends are always so happy to be at school and enthusiastic about their learning. I would love to give credit to the wonderful staff including teachers, administrators, principals, education assistants and ground staff. These dedicated people from MBC are busy shaping the goals and dreams of our future generations, and they deserve all the honour and accolades we can heap upon them. I appreciate your professionalism, compassion, and commitment to our children. And the best is...we will still be 'journeying' for the next couple of years in this wonderful school.

McClelland College
As a recently past student from this school, I can say that it's a highly good school. All the teachers there are amazing and will help students with anything they need if they're asked and if given detail about the issue. I asked a former teacher about a certain personal question as I trusted them very much and gave me great advice. They're also VERY LGBT+ and other culture friendly. If I could give more stars, I would.
