Had a great evening here. Went for dinner and stayed for the show. My partner had a great burger and I tried the crab and gumbo, very tasty! The live music was incredible, jungle Jim is a very talented and entertaining guy.

Fried stuff were not greasy and very juicy inside. The fries were also one of the best I've ever tried!

Nice atmosphere, felt like we were in a classic New Orleans eatery. Service was great and friendly. However, the food wasn't that good. The triple cheeseburger looked great but, the parties were overcooked and salty. And their soft shell crab was pretty small compared to the bread.

Came in with the family and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Last time we tried to come at night but it was full, so this time we came during the day. Night atmosphere seemed great, and not as cool during the day but great decor and setup. The food itself was mostly tasty, although portions seemed smaller than we expected especially for Southern American style food. The cornbread also wasn’t too great. We liked the chicken and waffles and jambalaya.

Great burger and juicy, service is great too. Best burger in geelong. The crab sandwich is not really great. But that change nothing from my review, still best burger spot in G town

We didn't really expect much as we found this place by chance, but we were pleasantly surprised. I got the cheeseburger and it was really good. The chips were also amazing! The service was fast and staff were nice. Totally recommend.

I find the food pretty average really. Been twice now. (Might be because I'm more a healthy eater in general and prefer Asian flavours.) $20 for a burger seems a lot when it's in an average bun and very basic filling - fried meat, lettuce and tomato. The roll I got (catfish po boy) wasn't great taste wise though was a huge serving. Served in a basket which makes it impossible to cut. Much prefer a plate so will ask next time if I go back. The fella who ran it seemed quite grumpy and unfriendly, though the young girl who waited on us was much more cheerful.Have been here for music before and that was great! Would go back just for drinks and music and avoid the food next time.Beers available were good. (Loved the Blackman's Brewery Reginald IPA)

Tasty cajun-inspired food and really good local craft beer, served in proper craft glasses, and not too expensive either (all beers were 9-10 bucks). Are outside as it was such a nice day but the short trips I made inside revealed a pretty good southern ambience complete with blues music. Thanks to the very helpful and accommodating staff too, made our first trip to Geelong for ages end on a great note. Cheers!
