Ghost Tours Australia - Brisbane
I did this tour many years ago and it was great, Yesterday I decided to arrange a date night with my partner who has never experienced this tour before. However we were extremely disappointed. Our tour guide didn't know where he was going half of the time, didn't know the full names of the deceased, such as Jack the rippers full name, Did not know the actual name of the beer that William Macnaughton Galloway drank, the guide said he drank triple XXX LoL. The tour is meant to last for 2 hours and it last for 1.5 hours. We did not see everything like the book we got handed to us at the end, Basically it was like a primary school excursion.

We've been living up in Mandurah for 30 odd years and never been down here, decided it was time to change that and had a thoroughly enjoyable time, there's a cafe (but beware it's not open every day and closes early afternoon), we particularly enjoyed the machinery museum but the arts and crafts were also excellent, we all bought something. Definitely worth a few hours of your time in Pinjarra, the rose garden nearby is also beautiful, all lovingly maintained.Just to add to the above, we went down again a few days later as I realised we had not visited the Old School which sells patchwork quilts and other related gifts as it had been closed. Well worth it and the lady there was annoyed that whoever had been in charge that day had decided to shut up shop when they should have been open for business. Given this situation perhaps it’s best checking if you’re interested in certain things to phone first to make sure they’re open when they say they are to avoid a wasted trip down.

Royal Exhibition Building
Attended the Rites of Passage exhibition here, was well laid out. Easy to get here by public transport and a short walk to the heart of the CBD. There was the option of food trucks at the event if that’s your kind of thing, else a short walk will get you to VIC Market. The lawns a very popular with families out for a walk and for photographers (the tree lined boulevard is a great location for a photoshoot).

Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery
A beautiful gallery with an impressive collection gifted to the gallery of Indigenous Art. I loved the notes connected to the pieces, words from the artists. Currently 2 collections on display which perfectly complement each other.

Now this is a place of history! You can actually see, smell, touch and walk the hallowed halls where people of history did. It is faithfully restored to the decor and colour of the day. To see and view books that are over 300 years old is rather awe-inspiring. This place is open every day and it is worth the walk-around.
