Delivery Chinese restaurant

Last week we made the impromptu decision to go to Traf Chinese after years of take out.To say we had a great night would not do it justice. We arrived early, so got a great early bird meal discount unexpectedly. The food was generous, tasty and fresh, and even better than delivered to home.The Team are gorgeous and friendly and they have been so kind and quick to have a laugh with guests.They even contributed a voucher to Pride Gala earlier this year.This is such an honest, good, small business. They obviously care about each other and the food. We will definitely be back again soon.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening and the place was busy with take-away mostly. Quite a few people picking up orders...... we got a special fried rice (no prawns) and the special King Do pork ribs and both dishes were really nice. The pork had just the right balance of Peking style sauce.... a little bit sweet & a little bit tangy. We really enjoyed our meal and will return again. Thanks.

I have been to Larnna Thai for million times, it’s absolutely my favourite Thai Restaurant in Newcastle. Food provided in generous portion, dedicated plating, lots of healthy and balanced dishes available on the menu, great service all the time. They have the best authentic Tom yum soup (usually places have very light texture or made straight from paste) and pad Thai is also highly recommend. They made everything from scratch, even like prawn crackers and the entrees, definitely worth trying!

Went for weekday lunch with colleagues. There's potential here, and the restaurant is generous.Service was very good and we didn't wait long. Lunch Special prices are mid-range and portions are generous, but copious amounts of salty seasoning and rich sauce don't compensate for lack of protein & substance - the quality and quantity of meat in the 3 dishes we ordered was consistently lacking.The soups included with the lunch special were served tepid, gelatinous and unappetizing, but - we were offered complimentary bao that my colleagues enjoyed very much.

Really wanted to give this place a five star as the food tasted great and the ambience was nice and graceful, but the service was just not the greatest (especially by the older gentleman) given the price and the class. Maybe they are understaffed on the weekends, maybe they have always been like that. Also, when we asked to take away our remaining food, they put all dishes into one box, which I know is an eco thing to do, but just completely ruins the flavor of each dish. With that being said, if you want to enjoy Chinese food in a nice and neat environment, and do not mind the price and the less responsive service, this place is recommended.

Fine for korean fried chicken, skip everything else.I used to really really love this place. I'm not sure if it changed ownership, but the past few times I've eaten from here have been really disappointing.I ordered delivery, the chips were soggy, but I expected that, delivery and all. But the Mongolian beef, Satay chicken and fried rice were some of the saddest, blandest I've ever tasted. Prawn Crackers tasted 3 days old.

Small place but amazing taste. Very cheap prices and the lunch menu is even cheaper. Couldn't recommend it more.

Fantastic service, great pricing, authentic and tasty. Very accommodating for certain requests (I asked for no spicyness in two dishes for my kids and they did it very very well!). I'm glad that they've added the Jjajjang Sauce to Fried Rice dishes, it's a staple and tastes great!

The seafood soup was delicious, whatever the soup base is it's a banger. Friendly staff and asked for spice level, said a little and it was spot on.

A pretty nice Chinese restaurant in Strathfield. The staff are friendly and hospitable. However, I wouldn’t say it’s the most authentic Asian restaurant - not that this is any indication, but I think we were the only Chinese people dining in the restaurant. The food was quite basic and not very flavoursome. However, it was still good enough.The restaurant was quite beautifully decorated, I liked the art and the instruments hanging on the wall.The spring rolls were decent - enjoyed them! The fried rice was also quite good - not super flavoursome. We also got the fried noodles with the seafood - this wasn’t very special, the noodles seemed to just be packaged noodles and the seafood and veggies were just steamed. The duck was decent - a little tough but overall good flavour. The fried tofu - this was very nice, more on the salty side, but quite enjoyable with the textures and tastes. The fried ice cream was nice too - can’t go wrong.I liked that they also gave us fortune crackers. The service was decent. I’d recommend trying this place for yourself, but it was a bit on the fence for me.
