Drive-in movie theater

I loved it. It was my first drive-in and I'm planning to come back. Only drawback was other car lights flashing on suddenly.

Went to see Grease on Thursday evening 30/3 and unfortunately my car would not start after show and RAC could not get me going and had to call a tow truck. The 2 wonderful ladies who were in attendance were magnificent and demonstrated enormous patience on a very wet night until tow truck removed my car around 1.00am. Many thanks Galaxy team.

Great to see the tradition of drive ins are still alive. Doing it in the outback was even better

Fantastic experience. Great to be able to take the kids to a good ole drive in. The food was well priced and service was fast. Most grateful that I could eat the same foods as the kids with a slight alternative. Something I never get to do being Coeliac. They even had gf icecream options. Thanks so much for a great night out.

Had a great night and a great feed. first time ever we have taken our son to a movies 16 months old and loved peter rabbit. oh and the hot chips.thanks for a great night

Loved it - this was our first ever drive in cinema experience and it was awesome - the sound is played on speakers but is also broadcast on a FM frequency for your radio.

You can not beat seeing a movie at the Drive-in, so very happy Mareeba still has one to enjoy..Definitely go along and support them..A fantastic team with great service and an excellent variety of meals and snacks to make the experience even more enjoyable..

Great experience! Love the fact you can have the comfort of new movies in your car! So great for the children, the staff are friendly toilets are clean and grounds are maintained.Nice food / deals on food!10/10.

Great experience - must do it once! Buy your ticket online, price is pretty good. Get your ticket scanned at the entrance booth and go to the field for your movie session (there are at 3 fields I think). SUV, van, truck etc need to park on the side or back of the field. Car lights must be off and no foot on the brakes, you have to tune in to an FM radio station for audio (or hire radio). Our car had to be turned off fully so no lights disturbing others but that means the audio turns off every 10mins which is the only annoying thing of this whole experience. Bring your own snacks/drinks and get comfy in your cars! Some people brought their chairs to sit in, there are toilets available around the back of the diner’s building.

Beautiful service and all facilities were very clean, the screen and sound was amazing. The only negative was we were in field 3 and had to walk a very long way to the bathroom all in the dark on the road as I had a young child was very dangerous. They need to find a better solution. Other then that was amazing and will definitely be back
