English restaurant

Early morning, need a heater on all windows and doors open. Coffee's good, foods reheated. My egg was microwaved to long so it became hard and crispy, not enjoyable.Aside from coffee, ok experience.

A slice of Blighty set in the lush scenery of Wongawallan.Had a lovely drive out to the Fox and Hounds today for my husband's birthday. When you walk in you het that great British pub feeling! The staff are fabulous with excellent customer service. There's plenty to see with lots of British knick knacks and memorabilia that make you reminiscent.We had the prawn cocktail (never would have prawns that big in the UK!!) and breaded mushroom starters, followed by Cornish pasty and the liver and bacon. Delicious! Even got a packet of Pickled Onion Monster Munch for the drive home.Looking forward to going back as I got pie envy when I saw the beef and Guinness pie arrive to the table next door!

Loved this experience, the atmosphere in each of the rooms needed much more time to view them. Im going back tonight!! I had the Irish Curry, omg hiw yum was that. There was a party if 6 of us and not one upset or hungry person left that place yhat day!!

What an awesome find! We visited during a recent trip to Brisbane and will make it a regular stop everytime we travel now. Great spot. Family friendly. Great menu options and the owners and staff are awesome. Thanks Cliff for making us feel so welcome.

We had guests from overseas and we wanted to give them a great impression of a breakfast in Mount Dandenong. So we took them to King Henry’s restaurant and we ordered Great British Breakfast Board for Two People for 50$ . What you see in the picture is what we got! We had ordered fried eggs and poached eggs for the Great British Breakfast Board but we got scrambled eggs and poached eggs. Absolutely underwhelmed when we got this disorganised and poor presentation . The waitress apologised for not bringing it on a board and after we informed her that they had prepared the orders wrong the chef brought us fried eggs, boasting himself saying” now you have got eggs three ways!”.We found this inappropriate and rude. Disappointing experience. 3 stars for previous experiences.

Excellent food. Good English fish n chips. Good prices. Great friendly staff. Clean and tidy environment. Been 6 times no complaints. Keep it up. Love ❤️ it.

We had the most amazing Ploughman's lunch the menu was incredible and the atmosphere was just so cosy snd very English. The staff were so courteous and prompt. Our whole lunch experience today was 10/10 . For any food lovers of good food don’t hesitate book and enjoy you will love it

Cod and chips was amazing, best chips I have had since being in England. Don't forget the curry sauce as it goes so well. The Cod was a lot nicer than I expected being a Barra eater. Conversation with the staff was lovely and the grocery items are quirky.

Traditional British pub Tudor style with iconic red London bus out front. Loads of memorabilia from over British Isles you will find interesting.Traditional fare such as toad in the hole ,Cornish pasties, pork pie fish and chips.Very popular so book a table. They have theme nights too, along with very popular Christmasin July. Parking can be tight. Recommended

I've ridden my bike past this cafe a couple of times during the week and it's clearly the locals favourite Cafe. Unfortunately I can't comment on the menu as I only ordered a black coffee (which was nice and hot and not burnt). Although it was busy, the staff were well organised and very friendly. Great customer service from all of them ! I did see ice cream at the front for the ice cream lovers. It's dog friendly for outside tables and there's bike parking too. They've really catered for all and have created a very relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors if you have a large group. My coffee came with a collective spoon and a chocolate freckle wich was a lovely touch. Will be back !
