Ready Eddies Cafe
Cozy neighbourhood restaurant, ample parking. Owners and staff are always welcoming and friendly. Food is delicious and they also sell fresh bread and traditional phillipino desserts.

The price is great for the quality of food. They are generous in their serving, not only the food - but the drinks they have available and have to offer. The staffs are quite friendly and the indoor dining is suitable for families or friend reunions. It's easy to walk to and I highly recommend you to support your local if you are on the search for some charcoal chicken.

Waste of money. Service is bad, food is horrible. Rice is wet and sticky and other dishes were bland. Lady behind the counter's somehow shrewish and keeps telling everyone they're busy when more than half of the tables were unoccupied. For almost $5 per stick, you'd expect the grilled intestine to be of decent size but my forefinger is longer! If you want to smell like grilled meat due to smoke that fills the restaurant and hurt your eyes, this place is for you. Otherwise, spend your money somewhere else.In response to the owner, we were there second weekend of Feb and I am fully aware of the the process to prepare it. Been to other Filo restaurants in Qld and NSW that offers isaw and it's extremely way better than what was served on your restaurant that day. Good thing you rectified the issue about the smoke because it was a nightmare for us who waited for one of the dishes we ordered but your staff forgot to key it in your system and we're basically waiting for nothing. The issues raised doesn't directly involve being under staffed. It was the quality of food and attitude of the staff. I used to enjoy your food at the Carseldine and Nundah markets but it has obviously went downhill.

Cucina de Manila
One of the best Filo food I have had in entire Sydney! Their Crispy Dinuguan is really really awesome, and their Sisig, unlike others, is just the perfect blend, not too oily.Always a full tummy whenever I visit here

Filo Station
Wow! I haven't been able to travel to the Philippines since Covid but my visit to Filo Station transported me there. This place has a wonderful, friendly atmosphere, the owners and staff are welcoming and friendly. Food is authentic and delicious, cooked with traditional family recipes handed down from the owners grandmother.I can't wait to return and try more of their menu ... highly recommended

Let’s Chon Sydenham
A very fragrant and savoury smell that attracted me to this small place near the station 7 months ago. It wasn’t busy at all for a Sunday lunch peak hour as we were the only ones dining in at that time. Firstly let’s talk about the extensive menu with various items to choose from which took us a while to decide which ones to order. We got the single serve of lechon belly and Bicol express with a cup of plain rice. The items came out quickly after approximately 10 minutes and we could see and smell the delicious fragrant coming right from the open kitchen. The lechon belly has a crispy skin while the meat itself was juicy and well cooked but didn’t dry out a compared to other crispy pork belly that I’ve tasted somewhere else. The vinegary sauce and pickled vegetables came as complimentary condiments really helped bringing out the lechon taste and making every bite so deliciously. The bicol express was creamy with coconut milk and a hint of shrimp paste which makes it quite savoury and went well with plain rice. Staff is friendly and overall I was very satisfied with my first experience today. Will definitely come back to try more dishes next time.P.s: 2nd time coming to the place - ordered garlic fried rice, whole lechon single serve, pork bbq and vegetable pinakbet. A good overall experience as well however I’m missing their homemade sauces from the first time. Now they just use bottled sauce which didn’t really have any uniqueness. All food was good value for money and I actually preferred the lechon belly that I ordered last time than the whole lechon.

Bamboo House
My son and I use to love going to this establishment, good meal at a reasonable prices. Went back today and paid double the amount we use to for the exact same meal not even 12 months ago, almost $40 each for a simple Filipino dish. Unfortunately my son became unwell not long after eating there. He suffered from nausea and diarrhoea. Extremely overpriced, obvious price gouging and not the most ‘health conscious’ establishment. Easier and safer to go to the local pub and get a better meal and drink for a little less. If you are after value for money and a healthy eating option then I suggest steering clear of this establishment. Disappointing and disgusting.

Wanted pork bbq skewers, chicken bbq skewers, pork belly strips, chicken inasala and corn. They didn't have corn or belly strips. That's fine, it's a Tuesday, maybe they didn't get a delivery. Was told 15 to 20 mins. Got there after 20 mins and still had to wait. Skewers burnt. Chicken inasala is very sour, didn't put lemon on it. Rice is good. Chicken oil is good. Service is really good, very smiley and nice. Restaurant is clean, I saw hair nets and gloves. Again, on a Tuesday night, so restaurant was empty. I'm not an expert on Filipino food so this could be authentic but the skewers being burnt make it very difficult to eat, and very dry.

Gotiangco Fish and Chips and Resto
Really good value for money and popular with the Phillipino community. Locals serving locals cuisine from home. Great to pop in and try some of this good food. Very happy we tried this place on a whim. Nothing fancy but can sit inside or outside with park view. Happy cheerful service to boot.
