Massive thank you to Nurse Tomas, Nurse Paul, Nurse Donna, Dr Nathan, Wardslady Holly - there was at least another 10 staff/beautiful people I didn’t note names sorry! I was taken by ambulance to Nambour Hospital after a traffic accident and was immediately cared for by so many wonderful people, I felt so safe considering I was in a really terrified and vulnerable state with no loved ones with me at the time. My pain was taken seriously and action was taken accordingly and quickly. Wonderful team at Emergency, I am so grateful to you all. Thank you.

Got some friends working here and they complained how unprofessional these people are, especially the managers keep using their power to abuse new staffs, specifically targeting non-Aussie personnels. HR department is not doing their job properly by letting vulnerable people not be able to provide feedback about managerial behavior at work places. If you can't manage your behaviors, there is no way this place attracts competent people, which evidently is shown by the reccurences of bad experiences for the patients come to the hospital for their treatments. Total reform and restructure of the organization, its values and behavior and competent examination for the staffs is a must.

Absolutely disgusted at the negligence my partner suffered. He came in with an agonising full body rash after being sent there by a pharmacist. We waited there for four hours while he shook with pain despite only one other patient being in the waiting room.We were eventually seen by Dennis who proceeded to look at his hands (not the rest of the rash on his body) grab them without asking (causing pain) and dismiss everything said by my partner and myself. He told him this was eczema and to put antiseptic on it and take a steroid (prednisolone) and sent him home.Later that evening he was crying and shaking from pain and now cannot use his hands.I had to remind the doctor of the side affects between the medications my partner was on as he did not even bother to read the notes the nurse had taken.Utterly disgusted.

My mum called the hospital asking for help for my 7 year old brother because he was having really bad chest pains that of a heart attack and the response they gave was, we don’t have any more beds available and since you had covid you will have to wait in your car and we “might” see you and that will take 3-4 hours (which we did have it before this incident but we were out of quarantine once this happened) Mind you while all of this is happening my brother is still in so much pain thinking he’s going to die and he is also overweight so it makes it so much harder for him, then they say to go Google children and adolescents help and see" if they can get you into the hospital. Absolutely appalling."

As my Mum is getting discharged today, we asked what approximate estimate we could expect her to be out today since we have a long two hour drive ahead. Got lectured by the nurse in 4C about how 'they are doing our best, and we should be patient and let them work'. It was the first time we had gone up to the desk and asked and it's getting quite late in the afternoon. It came off really passive aggressive and upset my mum greatly. A little more tact and understanding towards patients who have spent over a month in hospital with multiple surgeries would be greatly appreciated

The only thing I can fault is the fact that there is not the option to rate this practice, along with Dr Yee, a TEN out of FIVE.I first met Dr Yee, around 10 years ago, when I was an emergency patient at the Royal. I had acute liver failure along with glandular fever so I was not in a good place. Enter Dr Yee. The moment he walked into the room there was such a positive aura of energy around him like I have never experienced. It was then I knew that there was no better person to get me back on track. I spent a week in hospital and every single day Dr Yee would visit just to check on how I was going and to update me on my condition(s). Although I consider Dr Yee the most knowledgeable person I have ever met, I am positive that it was also his positivity and energy that helped me get better.A few years later I needed to see a gastro specialist and my GP referred me to none other that Dr Yee. Straight away I felt at ease and a calmness surrounded me. I get to my appointment and Dr Yee was exactly as I had remembered him. I have been an ongoing patient now for around 5 years and each time I meet up with Dr Yee I can't help but leave the practice with a smile. I mean how is it possible for someone that has, what a normal person would consider, such a stressful profession be so good at making people feel at ease. Yes, there will be those that will be quick to comment oh he does it for the money" and it is those people who suffer from tall poppy syndrome because Dr Yee has passion.I also have to commend the practice staff as they also share Dr Yee's energy and I enjoy the random banter every time I see them. To say that the practice staff go above and beyond is an understatement. I have always found the rooms to be exceptionally presented and nothing seems to be too hard if you have any questions. To summarise I feel humbled to have Dr Yee in my camp because his professionalism goes way further than his qualification. I also believe that the practice staff all feed off each other to complete the best overall experience possible.Go Team Yee ......... :)"

This is how a hospital should be run. Staff are incredible at all stages from administration all the way through to drs and wait times are low. Thank you for being caring and empathetic when I recently went through such a traumatic experience of loss

What a nice large money making machine this place is .A relative had surgery here recently and couldnt say enough about how friendly the staff were , but when you ask them to do something they totally ignore you . The rooms are large and the beds comfortable but the staff need to be told to do their job when they are asked to do something by a patient , who is paying a premium to be there .The parking is a problem that needs to be addressed also .
