The food is exceptional as is the service,this restaurant is a bonus to Hervey Bay, it is fabulous, needs a bigger venue to handle more customers,I can't wait to try another meal there again.thankyou Gerry and Moi

My husband decided to take me here, and oh my! The best food I have ever tasted. I'm usually a very picky eater. It is not just normal food, but traditional German food. The sweet potato fries and snitzel are my top favourites. I keep going back for more lol. We would have loved him to cook at our wedding if we found this place sooner! Everything is made to perfection. The owner and staff that work here are lovely.

Great atmosphere, well priced meals and the second best schweinshaxe I've ever eaten. Does book up quickly so best to reserve a table. Most extensive range of beer I've seen in SEQ. Speedy and efficient service.

Not a huge fan of German food but so happy we tried this place. Schnitzels and Ribs caters for everyone and the care that goes into the meals is amazing considering the speed they serve them.Great flavours and light, wonderfully cooked schnitzels.The lady who runs the restaurant really looks after you and is training her staff to do the same.Overall a popular and busy restaurant that serves great German food while catering for everyone.We also noticed some produce for sale and takeaway available.You can eat indoors which can be a bit noisy or outdoors.Definitely give this place a go.

Travelled to the Bavarian in Rockhampton today for Mother’s Day lunch. After an hour we received our two kids meals, after another hour we decided we were done waiting. Four other tables around us also did not receive their meals, and even when we loaded the kids into the car and asked for a refund they said it was being packed now and we could have it takeaway… after another 5-10 minutes they just gave us a refund. Very disappointing Mother’s Day.Updated review to 5 stars, we were invited back by the manager with a voucher, and not only was our food absolutely delicious but the service was fantastic and as it was my birthday I was given a birthday treat after dinner! I understand things can go wrong and am very grateful for the staff at Rockhampton Bavarian reaching out to us and giving us an amazing dining experience. We will return again.

Went to this place for lunch and had the Elmar's Bratwurst Plate Trio. Three different types of sausages and mash. Tasted good. Was about 36 dollars.The place is good for small kids. There is a large grassed area at the back and a small playground.

Went to the club for a function, we had a 3 course meal and the food was lovely. The staff were polite and efficient and drink prices were comparable. The atmosphere was upbeat and happy. There is limited off street parking around the club so once full, parking is on the street. Overall, a good night out.

Amazing customer service and the 10in pretzels are amazing. We ordered like 14. Although they forgot a few and we had to ask about them, and at the time it wasn't like they where busy. Apart from us their was one other family. But the views are amazing and the food even better. Good place to eat if your in the area or just came from Maleny Dairy's as it's just down the road

We got a pork knuckle which has to be pre ordered, but there happened to be one spare. Maybe slightly overcooked but still really nice. The lager on tap was great too.You don’t go to a German restaurant for the best flavours, you go there for the atmosphere, fresh beer, and hearty meals. This is exactly what we got. To top it off getting a seat on the balcony with a killer view made it all come together.

Fun vibe with a tasty menu at fair prices considering the touristy" location.Our waiter was very attentive and friendly - doing his best to accommodate challenging dietary restrictions (unfortunately most of the popular items aren't dairy free).The banquet was split between 4 (the maximum recommended) which wasn't quite enough for the larger appetites in the group
