Haunted house

A big thank you to Olive, Lawrence, Sylvia & Sophia for opening your home to us. We were welcomed and entertained from the moment we arrived.Monte Cristo has been on my bucket list for years and this amazing property didn't disappoint. The home itself has been restored beautifully and the history behind every room is both intriguing and terrifying.What an amazing night.I can't wait to visit again!

Had a wonderfully spooky time. Some of those stories are truly frightening and Dahlia is an excellent host and guide. Totally recommend doing this tour as the history will amaze, enthrall, scare and disgust you.

Great experience at the Monte Cristo homestead after wanting to visit since I was ten years old. I would love to go back and stay overnight sometime too but for now it was just a stop over on our way home.We explored the home and it was super cold in the servants quarters as well as the old cart stables. We got one live picture of a few orbs floating around which was weird and cool.Besides those new things it was a really nice stop over in a very historical building that I had known of most of my life, and always wanted to visit. So it was nice to finally do that.

Amazing place so much history and sadness, Nathaniel is an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide and took us in all of the hot spot areas! A few strange things happened to some of us in the group, whispers heard and some of us feeling light headed and dizzy. Highly recommend, definately will be back for the paranormal tour! The owners of this Homestead have done an amazing job of curating quite a collection of antiques and objects. Whilst we didnt see or hear a ghost during our visit, the ambience is definately quite unusual. We went during the day, I can imagine it would be atmospheric at night! The owner gave a talk when we purchased our tickets and entered the grounds, he provided us with a map which detailed the main house and surrounding grounds. Very interesting!

Walking the site at night is a must do if you visit Port Arthur. Unfortunately for our group the tour guide spent the whole time just rambling about stuff none of us could understand. Ruined the tour. The buildings were great through

We (two adults, three teen boys) had Dave as our ghost tour guide. Very funny, quirky and obviously knows his history about Port Arthur! We also came during the day but much preferred the night. Dave’s storytelling is fantastic!

Great tour with informative guide who takes you through the Aradale Asylum at night. No ghost sightings on our tour but very eerie going around the rooms. Well worth a visit

It was a good adventure and fun, our tour guide did a fantastic job. A good storyteller and funny. Highly recommended!29/04/2023 6pm tour. We didn't got our tour guide name but we absolutely had fun with him.
