Gwendolynne is an absolute gem. I am so glad I chose to have my dress made by her. It was truly the most lovely experience. Gwendolynne made me feel so comfortable, and the end result was truly exquisite. The amount of time, detail and care that goes into each piece is truly outstanding. She is so talented. I cannot recommend her highly enough.She is a beautiful soul and so kind and patient. I can be quite indecisive, but Gwendolynne gave me all the time I needed. I never felt rushed and always left feeling calm and so happy with my dress.On top of making my dress, she also made myself and my bridesmaids earrings-quite last minute too. Once again, so talented. The earrings were beautiful, they complimented the dress perfectly. She also gave them to us in the most beautiful, antique looking box. What an experience! Hajar is extremely talented and particular when it comes to altering and designing dresses. I was lucky enough to hear about Hajar from a close friend who had just recently had her Wedding dress altered by Hajar. I bought my Wedding dress online from a beautiful boutique but I needed it altered and fitted properly. I knew I was in safe hands from the moment I walked through the door. I had multiple fittings, my dress taken in, bustles and my dress taken up. Hajar even used her own lace to add a little reinforcement to my dress. I am beyond impressed by what you have done for me Hajar, thank you. Ladies, you will not be disappointed. See Hajar for any of your dress alterations and even just check out her own designs. I went to the online store to buy some candles for my lockdown house… and ended up buying a few other items to, a new belt bag, a stunning jumper and new jeans. It arrived super fast and beautifully presented, sadly the jeans were too small, obviously had a few too many grilled cheese in lockdown…but Fran from Moya was so lovely to deal with and made the whole exchange process so easy and hassle free… new jeans are a dream fit and I look amazing in my new outfit (and the original purchase of just candles… have really improved my mood on these long lockdown days)! **To clarify the designer's response to my initial review**Dear Hajar,I understand your disappointment in my review; however, I also need to clarify aspects of your response.- The Melbourne bridesmaid’s measurements from year 12 were given to provide a starting point to develop the dress upon; this was at the request of the designer. The designer also met with my Melbourne bridesmaid months before the wedding and you took the correct measurements to rectify sizing issues.- At the designer’s insistence, I made arrangements with my Melbourne bridesmaid to meet with them on a further three occasions; this coincided with their business trips to Melbourne. The Melbourne bridesmaid rearranged her work and university schedule to meet with the designer, however, the designer failed to meet with this bridesmaid on every arrangement and made no contact to inform or follow up on these missed appointments.- To clarify my reference, the “other parties” that were blamed for the designer’s performance issues are the designer’s assistants.- The fabric ordered by the designer was not the fabric I agreed to, based on images that the designer sent me. As such, this is an issue that needed to be dealt with by the designer and their supplier; it is commercial standard to re-order at the cost of the designer’s business and not the client’s.- The designer’s requirement to travel overseas is totally their choice, however, when I am notified of this a month prior to my wedding and without any of the dresses completed, does not make me feel assured that my interests were of importance. Therefore, the cancellation of the overseas trip, even if due to being behind on my project, is behaviour to be expected from a professional couturier.- Out of the 4 fittings for the Melbourne bridesmaid, which were 48 hours prior to the wedding day, only two were actually done, as she was asked to return later, on multiple occasions, due to the designer not being ready. I appreciate the complexities of creating bespoke dresses as claimed by the designer, however, the true point of this situation is that a 48 hour final fitting on a very incomplete dress should never of happened and this dress should have been completed 30 days before the wedding day.- Completed dresses also had large areas of missing beading, and one dress had a hole in the train where beading unraveled and was not replaced. The designer’s comments, which minimalise these issues do not make up for the fact these dresses were not what I ordered. Indeed, these comments, in my opinion, also contradict their argument that they do care about the work they produce.- I also asked for an itemised tax invoice and have still yet to be supplied one.I have written this review to inform clients when they are looking for prospective wedding/formal dress makers. It is their choice on how much this information is used to inform them of their decisions. This will be my last contact with the designer in this forum, and I will also recommend that the designer refrain from making contact with members of my bridal party. This has caused undue stress to be spread to other people and it is not welcomed. I would recommend that if the designer wishes to continue further discussions that they do so directly with me and through proper channels.Maria.

This is an amazing store with elegant clothing! The quality rivals that of luxury brands at a fraction of the price! The shopkeepers were so nice and helped my autistic daughter pick out clothes!
