I went to Walid as I have lower back pain caused by sciatica. After 1 treatment of Hijama I no longer feel any sciatic nerve pain, I feel stronger and more energized. Walid took me through what he did and why he used cups in certain areas, which is important to me as I like to know all details of any treatment I recieve. He is very friendly, knowledgable, respectful and funny, he really puts you at ease before he begins the work. I have 1 more treatment to go but I will continue to use Walid in future as he is a master of Hijama.

Charged a $400 booking fee/deposit contrary to advertised accommodation deal. When contacted, receptionist rude and unhelpful blaming the third party for the misleading information and didn’t want any details to prevent further customers having the same issues. Receptionist also advised we will be charged a cancellation/ administration fee in order to get our deposit back, also contrary to the booking summary. I don’t normally write negative reviews but strongly feel customers need to be aware that you WILL be charged a deposit fee and it can take up to 30 days to be refunded if cancelling the booking contrary to any online deals advertised. Misleading information and disinterest staff; will not be booking/staying here in the future.Update (26-Apr-2023): to the M1 team, as previously stated I’m happy to email you a copy of the booking confirmation stating no booking fees and free cancellation before 10th December 2023 to prevent it happening to others. But I’m guessing that isn’t what you are trying to achieve with your post.

We stayed for 5 nights in room 212 as a family of 5. It is a 3 bedroom, split level apartment right on the river with amazing views. It was amazing! Wish we had longer! It was huge. The balcony was massive and was the size of most normal apartments. Having the 3 bedrooms was excellent as all kids had an actual bed vs a rollaway bed. All bedrooms have big wardrobes which was great. Staying for 5 days allowed us to unpack and not live out of a suitcase. The kitchen was great! Had everything you need and was probably the same size as my kitchen at home. We also had 2 bathrooms which was great with the 5 of us. It was also in a great location for the pool (which was great!) and the BBQ. They were on the same level and outside our room, but we never heard any noise from anyone out there. Katrina was also very lovely any time we rang prior to arriving, and was lovely when we were checking in and always said hello when we walked past when going in or out. That really made the experience even better. The location itself was perfect for us. Great walking along the river to the beach and it was literally next to Woolworths, Holey Moley and a range of other shops, as well as a heap of great restaurants. It was also walkable (5-10 minute easy walk) to more restaurants, Timezone and the Sunshine Coasts biggest shopping centre that had everything you could need or want. We have 2 coeliacs in our family and we had not problems eating out, it was easy than home. It was a quick drive to get on the freeway to go north to Noosa or south to Brisbane, and less than 10 minutes to Mooloolaba. Mooloolaba was great to visit but was also very busy during the holidays. Overall we loved our stay both for the hotel and it's location, but also for Maroochydoore. We'll definitely be back!

Treatment was incredible. Did Cyro, Inferred sauna and float tank. All my aches and pains have gone. Staff super nice and very helpful.Was a great experience. Highly recommended. Will go again

Nikita is fabulous! The treatment I received from her I have never experienced before, which I loved! I feel like I have grown a few cms in height as she has helped my posture. Loved the techniques she used and cant wait for my next session!

Amazing health retreat in a great location with great walks hillside views in a valley and friendly staff. Mostly non profit so great value and the cooking classes and well being videos are eye opening without being too long. Best part of the stay is you get a daily 1hr treatment of choice inc massages etc .

Super great experience, felt so calm and relaxed the entire time. Very reasonable prices for massages. Will have to try the facial next time :).

King Parrot Venue hosted our wedding in March of this year. Nicole and Ryan the King Parrot owners truly made our wedding experience specular. They are the dream team! Nicole from day one was so efficient and clear with communication, but was also so helpful in terms of our queries as well as providing us with recommendations of local vendors. Ryan was so accommodating and helpful the days leading up to our wedding and also on our wedding day.King Parrot is quite honestly one of the most beautiful places and most peaceful within Victoria. Its situated on the top of a valley, surrounded by forest and bush. The addition of an assortment of gorgeous friendly animals (sheep, highland cows, alpacas, horses and donkeys) just made it all the more special.Lastly our stay in the Windmill lodge was magnificent! Completely surrounded by nature, it was so cozy, clean and comfortable. The addition to small details such as an vast T2 collection, local plunger coffee and a delightful room spray really shows how much thought and care Ryan and Nicole have for King Parrot.Would recommend King Parrot for both a trip away and a wedding venue again and again! We loved it and so did each of our guests.Thank you so much Nicole & Ryan! :)

Honesty cannot rate higher. Phenomenal experience and quite likely life saving!! The staff are amazing, nothing is too hard for them. The entire retreat experience is personalised and amazing.The grounds are so well maintained, the grass is perfect for kicking off the shoes and grounding in the earth. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! I will be making this a yearly treat, but next time I'm staying 2 weeks!!

Exceptionally good, an amazingly positive experience. Life changing in a positive sense.Lots of people seem to complain about the costs in reviews, but going here with no expectations other than to immerse yourself - fully - in the healing and reset abilities the team/space has to offer there - you will be changed for the better, forever.I can't recommend this place enough really, but you need to be in the right frame of mind to really make the most of the healing and complete sense of calm and control you will obtain here.
