Heritage building

The Kingaroy Peanut Silos #'s 2, 3 & 4 were built between 1938 and 1951 by the Queensland Peanut Marketing Board for storage of peanuts before their processing and marketing. They are a distinctive landmark for both the town and the region. The silos were entered on the Queensland Heritage Register in 8th Oct 2010.

Since 2014 the Underground Opera Company has staged performances in what was for about three decades a key element of the fresh water supply for the city of Brisbane.The first reservoir was built in 1871 and the second in 1882 with water piped from the Enogerra Dam and then gravity fed to the local city customers. The reservoirs were removed from service around 1900.

Lime Leaves Thai Restaurant, Queanbeyan ticks all the boxes in my opinion: very caring and attentive staff, beautiful old house, wide diversity of menu, moderate prices and delicious flavours.They just did it so well, quietly spoken people and a menu that would keep me coming back if I lived there.

I did this tour many years ago and it was great, Yesterday I decided to arrange a date night with my partner who has never experienced this tour before. However we were extremely disappointed. Our tour guide didn't know where he was going half of the time, didn't know the full names of the deceased, such as Jack the rippers full name, Did not know the actual name of the beer that William Macnaughton Galloway drank, the guide said he drank triple XXX LoL. The tour is meant to last for 2 hours and it last for 1.5 hours. We did not see everything like the book we got handed to us at the end, Basically it was like a primary school excursion.

good place -you can play billiards, drink beers/softdrinks, money changer, sim cards, internet/wifi, etc...

I celebrated my Birthday with my Fiancée at Bar Cleveland and what an amazing experience. The vibe was great, food absolutely delicious, drinks amazing and super friendly staff too. We'll definitely go back again as we truly had a beautiful time.

An ok place.

This place is nostalgic. It's beautiful here and reminds you of a simpler time. There's a community garden here, and a very warm welcome at gardening meetings. It is next to a park where people take their dogs and a playground in a sandpit.

Smaller historical and replica dinosaur and area historical museum as well as home made goods. Gold coin donation and community run alby volunteers. Great job, loved it. I found some lovely opal earrings and a bracelet. Not boulder Opals but from Lightning Ridge.
