Glenfern Valley Bushlands
A nice Bushwalk that can be long or short depending on the trail you follow. Not a lot of people there when I went. Even the shorter trail tired out my dog and had her exploring throughout.

Yacaaba Headland Trackhead
Very nice area and has a great view from the top. However, maintenance to this area is neglected so you cannot see a clear full 360° view. Everything is overgrown. The walk to the top was steep and rocky. Need a good grip shoe and bring sufficient water as it gets hot and humid. Thread slowly on the way down as it gets slippery with those dry leaves, rocks and protruding roots. Overall great hike to the top.

Spring Mountain Forest Park
After what was going to be a great 19 km walk , was totally turned into something horrific... the signs were not precise and ended up doing 30 kms. We started at 8am and finished at 3pm ..7 hard going hours and only limited water for about 4 hrs and that we thought was ample. Will definitely not be doing that trek again. So shame on you Ipswich Council get the signs fixed .

Rennix walking track
Great track, a little slushy after the rain. Some things to note:There are wild Boars on this trail!Snakes are prominent on the trail, you wlll need to wear gaitors.Lovely trail to do at Golden hour. The tower at the end is a cool backdrop. Please, take your rubbish home with you.

Nice easy walk. Our 3 and 6yr olds had no problems. Waterfalls were ok.

Mt Barney Lodge
Just finished camping for 4 nights (Wednesday - Saturday). This place is awesome and will feature on my regular spots" list. When I go bush camping I go to get away from the noise and disturbance of normal life. I don’t want to hear other people’s music or loud parting into the night. Mr Barney Lodge meets my criteria. This camping spot is quiet and peaceful. During the day there were some families with kids that made noise that you would expect from families with kids. It was the noise of kids having fun “hey look at the big goanna…” - no issue here. However when the sun went down

Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail
A place for all to walk, if you like a good hike you can go all the way to Yanchep. Just to update we walked just over halfway and back at the weekend what an amazing trial. Only downside so many rude cyclists that think they own the track.I am a cyclist myself, it does not cost to say morning and slow down a bit or to say thank you when people stand out your way. We met some very rude people, ones that even used expletives be we were walking.UPDATE August 20I managed the full trial and then back to Ocean View Tavern 41k, what an amazing time. THe wild flowers where out and the trail was amazing, same issues with cyclists, why oh why can't they be polite.

Three Sisters walk
My wife and I have not visited Blue Maintain for so many years even though we live in lower north shore for decades. I remember the visit was in the 90s. So, this is an exciting trip, and I should pay more visits in the future to feel the great nature landscape. The viewing platform is exceptional, large, and modern. The cable cars are also new and modern. This is a fresh and impressive trip.

Honeyeater Lookout Trail
Make no mistake: This hike is no joke! The way to the lookout is 85% uphill and even for people that keep in shape, this one's a proper workout.Having said this, the view is worth it and the trail is well-indicated and -maintained (it can get muddy though).Pack enough water, something to eat and do not leave later than 3 pm as you'll easily need 2.5 hours for the return trip.
