Holiday apartment

We booked 5/6 rooms for us, friends and family to stay for our sons wedding in Kiama, and it was fantastic!! Firstly, Sylvia could not have been more responsive with correspondence; second she was so flexible' third, it was such great value even though it was more expensive than we would normally pay, but I decided for an event like our son's wedding, I was not staying in a motel, so we chose the honeymoon suite! Fourth, the accomadation itself was stunningly gorgeous in terms of decor, facilities, comfort and everything it offered. Fifth the location was so convenient, a short walk to the centre of town, cafes, parks, beach, lighthouse and the Pavilion where the reception was. Sixth, the verandas and garden area were also beautiful and a lovely place to sit. Seventh, they were able to accomadate us for an extra night at very short notice and finally, it was perfect for a group of people as we all had our own space, bathroom and kitchen area to make a cup of tea in the middle of the night or watch the World Cup without disturbing anyone !!!! I would go back here any day....it was a fantastic weekend and the accomadation just helped make it even more fantastic.

Excellent spotlessly clean accommodation. Karen is a superb hostess who looked after all our needs with meticulous care. We stayed for ten days and loved it.

Stayed 4 nights at Jones Beach Haven with my family. The house has a very relaxing feel. It is modern, clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, and even a piano which my granddaughter loved as she plays!Jones beach a minute walk with playground for kids.Plenty of other attractions in the area also.House has water views from lounge and balcony, 4 tastefully decorated modern bedrooms one with ensuite and main bathroom huge which is great for kids. Quality towels, doonas, linen and spare blankets. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday in Kiama Downs.

Good place, floor 7 is a private place, and that wasn't stated which I found a bit annoying.

My partner and I stayed in apartment 3 at The Figs for 2 nights last week.From the moment we drove up the drive way, our experience was one of pleasure. The place is nestled amongst beautiful gardens with amazing views sweeping down and out to the mountains.Our nights were spent sipping beers on our outside porch enjoying the garden and views. The apartment was well thought out, styled beautifully.By day, we took in the hinterland which is stunningly beautiful, exploring the towns along the way.Peter and Alison were delightful, offering insight in to the local points of interest and also any queries we had regarding the apartment. Chatting to them on our departure, it was obvious that they're passionate about their gardens and about recycling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if our travels allow it.

We had planned to stay in Coolwaters Discovery Park yesterday for 1 night but unfortunately our trip got delayed so we could not stay. I rang them up to cancel and despite being apologetic and giving them nearly 2 days notice. We were told our deposit booking would be taken off us and we would have to pay the full deposit fee of 87 aud. Not only that the receptionist was rude on the phone and did not have a nice way of speaking to me when i explained our situation. I have stayed in other Discovery parks in Rowes Bay and Airlie Beach and can only speak high of other ones, but would not recommend this Discovery Park!
