I've had to use Haven, Home Safe a few times in the past and they were, and still are very helpful for me. Not only when I was homeless before my heart attack, but even now almost two years later, they still help me out with useful and handy information and I respect that.

Been waiting for a transfer, first client officer didn’t even start the process.. Office seems very un organised , but the new Office building is high end port Macquarie I’m sure the tax payers are happy to pay the office rent. Actually they have to separate office space in this building, as now they have separated Koori housing.

I have been blessed to be living in a Haven home for 5 years.

I booked a appointment with Haven, went into my meeting and told one of the woman why I couldn’t live at home due to my parents being verbally abusive and other bad circumstances, she then said I won’t get approved for any house due to not working and couch surfing, they couldn’t help me (they didn’t offer any help whatsoever) She told me I should suck up my pride and go home. She said it 3 times and laughed at me. Disappointed and disgusted.

It's so rare these days to find some many kind understanding and non judgment people in one work place! They do a wonderful job 5 stars

Great community housing modern apartment. Staff are very helpful to tenant inquiries without notice or bookings. Repair jobs have been attended in a timely manner through SGCH website.Mail boxes have been installed, free bike storage, two amazing common areas which I hope will be accessible soon, unwanted bulk items room by rubbish rooms & right opposite to upgraded access to Redfern station expected to be completed this year.Downside is no complex parking and lifts get broken down sometimes. Otherwise, for what it’s worth we’re very lucky to be here and are immensely thankful. Housing wait time in this area for 2 bedroom is 10+ years!
