Hayabusa of Kuranda Japanese Lunch/Sweets & Kimono shop
Amazing small restaurant ran by a lovely Japanese couple! Remind me the old days walking in Tokyo and Kyoto narrow streets when travelling in Japan. It is a must to try when visiting Kuranda village.Only three tables but worth waiting to be seated.Highly recommended to try the dessert with crushed ice and sweet beans, taste great! We really enjoyed their authentic Japanese hospitality!!

Beautiful little shop. Expect a long wait because it's just run by a couple, and they are very popular. Absolutely worth the wait - food was great. They have an excellent range of Japanese sweets. I would definitely visit again

I loved the friendly staff members. I liked colours and textures of gorgeous kimonos, too! Kimono remnants were my favourite. They can be used as great patches when mending clothes of mine and my husband. I highly recommend this shop.

Really nice atmosphere and service here, had a ramen and dorayaki, can’t say it was the best but pretty fair with the price, if we come back again, we would like to try other Japanese desserts! There’s only 3 tables (maybe 10 seats) in the shop, but you can leave your numbers and the lovely owner will call you soon when the seats are available.

I decided to visit this place due to its impressive 4.9 rating on Google Maps, but the food experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. The dumpling wrappers were unfortunately soggy, giving them a mushy dough-like texture. The curry, on the other hand, was a bit too salty and reminded me of supermarket instant curry. However, I must commend the hosts for their warm and friendly demeanor

Beautiful Kimonos for adults and children. The owner has an excellent knowledge of Kimonos & textiles and she also does Kimono styling.

The hospitality of the owner lady is wonderful. The matcha kakigori was divine. The noodles weren’t as good as we (Japanese adults) expected but my son liked it anyway.
