Had my kitchen done recently through this company turned out amazing. Definitely will be using in the future for wardrobe fit out and few other things.Both affordable and quality of work.

After seeing Freedom Kitchens on the block I thought their stuff looked great and signed up for a free “quote”. The form asked for preferred contact and I put email as I can’t talk at work. So I get a call the next day.. I said I can’t talk he then sent me an email and I filled it out and sent back a request for an appointment time. Then the day before I get another email to confirm my appointment time, I do that. THEN a couple of hours later I get a text saying to call and confirm my appointment again or the appointment will be cancelled! I just confirmed it and they close in an hour and I’m not meant to be making calls at work. Great.The next day the design consultant comes. When he gets to our house he tells us he will be there for at least 3 hours. He ended up being there for 5 hours, still not sure why it took so long. I’d already drawn up a rough design idea myself, had some measurements to work with and a list of dot points of every feature I wanted in a kitchen.The kitchen that was designed for us in the end only had 1 feature that was on my list everything else we were told no to:No to a wine rack at the top - it didn’t fit the cabinet size the designer choseNo to stone bench tops - he kept saying I wanted a “Ferrari kitchen” when I didn’t have a “Ferrari budget”.No to having black cabinets at the top - he said it wouldn’t look timeless and to keep it all white (ok who’s kitchen is this? Not mine it seems)No to push draws - he had them in his house and didn’t like them.No to handless draws - it wouldn’t fit in our budget as well apparently.No to a big oven and stove - it wouldn’t fit in nicelyNo to a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher- he said not worth the money. Keeping in mind we weren’t getting appliances from Freedom anyway. He just likes telling customers no I assume?In the end he was pushing that Freedom wouldn’t be beaten on price and he had “made a phone call” to get a discount (I think every sale person does this, cringe). My husband thought that the price sounded ok for a laminate bench top and some white cupboards (if you break the price down it worked out about $1000/cabinet which seems expensive when you really think about it). He asked about a cooling off period and we were told yes call anytime in the next 5 days and your deposit will be refunded so we thought may as well sign up for that price.Our family knew a cabinet maker who had done nice kitchens so was able to send him some measurements and describe everything I wanted. He could make the dream kitchen happen and for $5000 less! He gave us a good price on stone if we wanted to change from laminate, again thousands cheaper than David from Freedom had quoted.We returned a call to the Freedom team and explained that we could get a good quality kitchen for a lot cheaper and she admitted they could only give us a further $1000 off, not $5000. Said she would refund our money. I didn’t say anything negative about the design consultant.Then a couple of hours later I receive a threatening email from David saying that I had taken his design to a cabinet maker and we were now subject to litigation for damages.I replied, “I didn’t give your design to anyone, not sure what you were told” (it’s not the kitchen I wanted anyway, you can keep it)Then David replied ‘so it’s just a coincidence that you got another kitchen quoted straight after I made a design?’I said do you know the definition of coincidence? We are looking for a kitchen, it’s 3 days later... so yes we had another design and quote done. Don’t know what’s so hard to understand about that. It had a lot more features for a lot less price.He sent another few emails still saying that I used his design.The experience went from “not a great one” to I’m going to officially complain and cannot believe these emails.Thank God they refunded our deposit after reading reviews from people who went ahead. I’m glad we can turn this around with a local cabinet maker and have a good outcome.I would not recommend a Freedom kitchen to anyone for any reason

Huge selection of timber slabs, awesome and knowledgeable staff. Needed a specific length slab for a project and the blokes cut a slab to length to help me out. Definitely coming back again for my next project.

I ordered some brushed aluminum kickboard from these guys. Not only were they nice to deal with on the phone when I had a few questions but the items was dispatched same day and arrived the next day. The quality of the kickboard laminate was excellent. Highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE my kitchen we designed with Brad from DMB Kitchens. Such a smooth process from the first phone call to kitchen installation. Many designs, colours, textures and ideas to choose from. I love knowing our kitchen is a one of a kind, of the highest quality and products.

Went in to look as I knew there were Sales on and the Sales Team were all so talkative and extremely helpful. Ordered a Large Trunk which will come in 4 weeks time but then noticed the gorgeous pillows. Staff helped me with best deals. Love my new pillows and looking forward to my trunk arriving.

I just wanted to take a minute to write a positive review for the lovely man who replaced my kitchen cupboard doors this morning! (Greenbank, 4124, 7:00am on 24/11).We build through Brighton, and some of the cupboard doors needed replacing. I can’t remember the guys name, but he was professional, on time, kind and very pleasant to talk to! It’s so nice to have such great customer service.
