After cataract lens replacement surgery the results are incredible. 20/20 vision. No glasses needed. To see colours again is amazing. Dr Fernando and good team are the only choice.

I had LASIK surgery performed a week ago and only have positive things to say about this clinic and my experience there. The practice is immaculate and everything is very clearly explained to you from start to finish.I have had very poor eyesight for my entire life and after years of being told I was not eligible for surgery I was losing hope. After carefully researching I chose eye laser specialists and was impressed immediately with the staff, cleanliness and overall first impression of my free consultation. Fast forward to the actual surgery and everything was so smooth and easy. All of the staff are extremely professional and make you feel at ease which I found very helpful due to the nature of the work they do being nerve racking for patients. I was extremely nervous on the surgery day, again to which the staff were great to deal with and extremely accommodating. The only slight improvement I would say is that the post surgery experience should be explained in slightly more detail, although I understand the recovery is a slightly stressful part of the procedure and everyone will have varied experiences.Overall I am amazed and so happy with my results, within less than 24 hours I could see for the first time in my life. One week post surgery and I am back to work, maintaining my eye drop routine and fully able to see. The surgeon was so relaxed and calm and was honestly having banter with me throughout the whole experience. Dr. Anton van heerden has genuinely changed my life and I am eternally grateful. 5* star experience.

Went here today for what was a suspected retina tear. From the first call to book my appt to Monday all the way to booking my follow up appt I had a good experience. The staff were all lovely and the Dr explained exactly what was happening and put all my fears at ease! I hate anything to do with people touching my eyes but every step of the way I was treated with kindness and reassured. Very professional and knowledgeable staff!

Any fears you have of eye surgery will disappear the instant you meet Ben LaHood, compassionate and genuine in the concerns of his patients throughout the surgery process. My results are amazing, I have clear vision for the first time since childhood, thanks Ben! A welcoming, modern environment using state of the art technology with friendly and helpful staff. A great experience all round.

One thing that people don't seem to realise is that if you get a radiology referral from your Dr you don't necessarily need to go to the one he or she tells you to go to - all of them accept each others referrals. The Xray / Ultrasound place at the lower floor here tends to do the majority of their work 'bulk billed' - and they have very new equipment. I've saved thousands over the years by going here. The only reason I marked down by one point is that the bloods section (QML?) at ground level seems to open and close at radically strange hours of the day. All in all, though, this place is brilliant.

Recently had LASIK performed by Dr Peter Ingham and I am so impressed with the whole experience. Professional reception and medical staff. Dr Ingham is so knowledgeable and he was very calming during the procedure. The final results are amazing!

I've been through the weird and unusual experience of having a cataract removed by Dr Glen Fernando. I would like to praise this man for his manner, care and professionalism in all that he had done for me. The left eye is next and I wouldn't change or even consider anyone else touch my eyes.

After being diagnosed with Macular Dystraphy (rotted retina) by another specialist I was devastated.It didn’t help to be told “ I told you last year you had it and there’s nothing I can do for you. If youNeed support contact Vision Australia. Also if it gets worse come back.”My thoughts were, why go back to be out of pocket $500 for a third visit when he can’t do anything. I might have vision problems but I’m not dumb.After visiting Vision Australia the young man was so much nicer and suggested I visit Dr Polya either atCharlestown or Morrisett . I chose the latter as it’s easier to get to and parking is easier.Dan Polya cared about ME and my sight. After he suggesting I have a cataract removed from my good eye to help with my vision I agreed and to both our astonishment I have gained 20/20 vision in that eye instead of 6/12. Miracle!!I then accepted his advise to have cataract off my bad eye even though it would not help my retina.I now am able to see without double vision and very little distortion.I have worn glasses for over 25 years and now only need them for reading.Previously I had a patch on my left eye so that I didn’t have distortion.Dr Polya, myself and his beautiful staff are so surprised . Also I thank God for using Dr to perform this miracle.
