Mazda dealer

Incompetent service staff! New engine was installed under warranty in my BT50. After installation engine shutdown while towing my caravan. Vehicle was towed back to Port Augusta Mazda where they could not find the reason for the vehicle suddenly shutting down. It happened again while traveling at 100km per hour, vehicle was again towed back to Port Augusta Mazda where they had the vehicle for 2 weeks and gave the vehicle back saying that they had fixed the issue. It happened once again suddenly while traveling on the highway. It was towed to another dealership where they discovered that none of the heat shields had been replaced when the new engine was installed and the wiring loom was routed incorrectly melting the wiring loom and causing the vehicle to shut down. We have still not even received an apology for the appalling workmanship. Definitely do not recommend!! Only giving 1 star because I have to.

Bought my first ever new car from here. The whole process was great. Jake and the team were always super friendly and helpful. Only down fall was the aftermarket sales lady who came to sell the paint and interior care items. I had spec'ed the car and agreed on price. Car Sold. Then to have her come change the spec (you dont need this" etc.. I think to make money for her products) and sell these products was jarring for me. I only want to deal with one salesperson and one negotiation. However

We were so happy with Mazda Rockhampton with the service they gave us. They went out of there way to help us as we were from out of town. They organised to help us with accommodation and even dropping us and our fur babies to the accommodation. They kept us up to date with the car.
