Yesterday was my daughter’s 10th birthday, and after a long absence away from friends during Melbourne’s lockdown, I definitely wanted to celebrate this first decade in style!!From the moment I contacted Neeta of Ada Henna, I just knew we’d be in for a treat!Neeta’s warmth, joy and enthusiasm came across immediately - and I was excited at the prospect of having her be the star attraction at my daughters special milestone birthday - which happened to have a bit of a Bollywood theme!Neeta has so many exquisitely beautiful designs to choose from - it was hard knowing which to pick ... they were all stunning!I’ve never witnessed a room full of loud and playful kids suddenly fall silent, as they watched so intently as Neeta began her magic.The kids had never seen henna tattoos before - and were completely captivated, as the intriguing and intricate designs being drawn across my daughter’s hand and on each of her fingers started to take shape.It was such a delight seeing their faces light up in absolute awe - followed by giddy excitement, as they realised they were next! Yay!Soon enough, the kids were then bursting full of questions - what is henna, what is it made from, will it wash off, etc ... and Neeta was absolutely wonderful in sharing her knowledge with them all, and patiently answered everyone’s questions.Within no time, the room was so once again abuzz with enthusiastic laughter and anticipation, as the kids delighted in picking out designs for when it was their turn.Neeta took great care and attention with each of our party guests - from the first to very last, the same level of care, detail and patience went into each and every design.Mums and daughters alike were all absolutely delighted with the finished results!! And let’s just say a great many photographs were taken of our new and very “Insta-worthy” tattoo masterpieces!Without a doubt, the party would not have been the roaring success it was if not for Neeta’s amazing presence and skill!!She is clearly not just an uber-talented artist, but also a very patient and engaging person who relates well with kids and adults alike (including those who were a little shy or simply indecisive)!I wholeheartedly and highly recommend Ada Henna Designs for your next party or event - she is absolutely fantastic!! I cannot sing her praises loudly enough! :DWe are still buzzing from the joy of it all!And I’ve no doubt whatsoever that long after our tattoos have faded, the wonderful memories of this party will live on for guests and hosts alike - and most importantly, for my daughter ... the birthday girl!!From the bottom of our hearts ... We used Ada Henna for a charity event this week and they did a great job! Setting things up in advance via email was easy and my contact was very responsive and helpful. They were on time, beautifully dressed in traditional attire and they engaged easily with the wide variety of people attending the event. Both women and men got henna art and as we only had a short time, the artists did designs that could be applied quickly. Having Ada Henna at our event was really appreciated by attendees and the henna art gives us the opportunity to talk about the charity with people who notice it in the days afterwards (until it wears off of course).I highly recommend Ada Henna. Great customer service, reasonable pricing and beautiful designs applied by friendly and engaging artists.
