We had dinner last night.Ordered food and served within 10 mins. Rice were warm and within 5 minutes gone cold.2 of us were fasting to didn’t return the food, bland rice.Their food plates are cold, so even if you put hot rice, they go cold very quickly. And what’s up with the quantity of sauce. $130 worth of food and 3 plastic containers of sauce.I would rather go to Punchbowl than eat here. Staff disappeared straight after the food delivery , we spend $136 but not worth. Will not be coming here again.

TLDR; definitely recommend. Better to come in with a few others during lunch so you can have a bit of everything. Or come for dinner and have everything. Try the lamb pide and the brisket. Cocktail was good.I was recommended to come here by a colleague and was not disappointed. We visited during lunch and ordered from the A La Carte menu ( must come back to try the Israeli Signature Set menu). Service was polite and lovely, didn't wait too long even though there was a fair number of people being served by the one waitress. The decor was quite cool as well with touches of the Middle East dotted around. The food was so flavorful and cooked really well; I have never tried really good Middle Eastern food before and could not compare to my previous experiences. We had the Lamb Pide, the Smoked Brisket and the Chicken Shish Kebabs; also in order of preference. The chicken I thought could have been a bit better in terms of flavour and portion - 2 skewers on rice for $24.90 is a bit much if you were only wanting one dish. However, I cannot fault the other two dishes; they had amazing flavours and were balanced well with appropriate seasoning and sauces. The Figling cocktail was also really yummy, a bit basic looking and small for $15 but don't regret trying it because it was really refreshing and a light cocktail to have with a big lunch.

We get takeaway from here and even on the busiest of nights it only takes 20 minutes. The pizza is also amazing quality.

The Middle Feast
I had been here twice before in the last 3 years and had good experiences.Unfortunately last night was disappointing.Firstly, I don't feel the wait staff are very attentive to their guests presence.Secondly, my friend and I ordered and we waited 10 minutes just for the drinks to come out, though we were given free bread and pickles first.Thirdly I ordered the gambino fettuccine and my friend got a mixed plate.I got the pasta about 10-15 minutes before my friend got her own food so by the time I could eat the temperature had cooled.I don't like to be rude and eat while my friend waits. The service size of the pasta was so small. My friends chips were also served cold.I mentioned all of this to the lady upon paying and she only apologised, she didn't seem at all interested in rectifying our experience. So for this fact alone, my friends and I will never return.I'm not sure if ownership has changed, but whatever it is, is disappointing. There was barely anyone there on a Saturday night.Picture of pasta below.**EDIT in response to management reply**Generally when there is only 2 people eating especially, serving should be timed together, so if the meat takes longer, you'd not prepare the pasta till later. Same goes for the chips, they should be prepared closer to the meat being ready, so that they aren't served cold or midly warm. Its just serving etiquette and you'd never see this time delay in many other restaurants that have your price point..There was no black out when I was there so I'm sorry but that is no excuse for poor customer service and lack of attentiveness to customers. If it were an issue however, its as simple as communication. The simplest form of rectifying a displeased customer is to compensate.unfortunately an apology alone is not enough for all customers and it should never be assumed that it is.I brought up more than 2 issues with the lady at the desk, which is a clear sign of customer dissatisfaction, therefore risking a bad review and travelled news..The pure fact that you have first defended the small serving size of the pasta, without consideration towards what a consumer is giving you feedback on, is not professional. You've stated that you've felt it is a good portion size, well thats great that YOU feel that way, but your customer is letting you know otherwise so thats generally cause to reconsider your portion size ongoing..Take my review as you wish, but I'd hope it comes as a learning curve rather than an attack because if I'm to leave a negative review its only ever so that the business can learn from it and hopefully make some changes so that they can improve.
