Model train store

Online says closed at 430. Drove across town and they are shut at 4pm. Very disappointing!

Visited Lawton store today and was attended by staff member vikki .. I was purchasing a bike and several other items well over $200 dollars .. i had them all at the counter and asked a question about soccer kit I was buying vikki could not tell me if it came with a ball and I asked her if they had any other options or did this particular one come with a ball … she rolled her eyes huffed and puffed and pointed to the other end of store with no indication of helping me … I then stood to the side and looked on my phone for advice and went to back of store to try and find something similar.. could not find anything or a staff member to help !!!! I did take the tape off the soccer box but did not take anything out or remove anything as I did see a ball in the box … I then decided that I would by my shopping vikki was very rude and definitely not helpful but it was her body language and the heavy breathing and sighing and just made it all seem to hard .. I felt she gave no customer service or advice and did not help me with my questions and I felt she had no intention of moving from behind the counter to help me … walked out and will spend my money at another toy shop the offers service …

Great hobby shop and very knowledgeable and nice people

I must say that the team at Argyle were extremely kind and helpful with their service during my recent purchase. If you are considering a garden railway, I would definitely go with Argyle!

Best Toyworld around and place to find a large variety of selections. What also attracts me to this store is not only all the options, it's the cleanliness of the place. Everything is in it's place. A+ for organisation.

Wandering around Flinders Street and I saw someone walking out with a model kit and was wearing a synth shirt and went well I bet I will like whatever they have here." Spoiler: I did!Staff were super friendly and they have a HUGE selection of model kits

Some items are well priced some are expensive and can be found cheaper at other stores. They don't not price match.

William at the Macquarie store was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to resolve my issue professionally. Will definitely visit soon again.

Nathan was excellent in helping me with products, answering my many questions and providing useful advice on miniature painting from his own experiences in the hobby.I mean I walked in with the firm belief that I would refrain from spending any more on paints and yet I came out of the store with three dropper bottles of vallejo primer and contemplating further purchases. He did something right.Only downside is that some products I wanted was not at that particular store in which Nathan said he will look into it in shipping from other stores or alternative venues/products.Very satisfied with my service.

My 3yo loved it. Very intricate railway model. A lot of work went into building it and it's pretty damn impressive if you focus on the level of detail achieved as opposed to just thinking it's just a silly train model. It's a master work of architecture and engineering is what it is.
