Matrioshka - Russian Restaurant
Friendly staff and great authentic Russian food. Atmosphere might not be for everyone but it was certainly fun and an enjoyable experience! Good for families with kids too.

Charing Cross Hotel
Steak was tough. Cooking was inconsistent (well done one side, blue the other.) Sauces are either packet mix or really poor and reek of a lazy chef. Fries were over cooked. This meal was not worth $42. Atmosphere and venue was nice beer garden was nice.

Just spent an evening here and OMG what a wonderful place. The muscle pots are amazing, beer selection extensive and the owners Delphine and Martin, well what can I say, the most professional couple on the Gold Coast. Do yourself a favour and get down to Currumbin for this little taste of heaven! Five Stars from me.I'm a foodie from Melbourne.Love what you guys are doing.Keep up the good work Delphine and MartinLucy xxx

Steamers Bar and Grill
Went for a Birthday Lunch with over 8 people, very accommodating and not a forced set menu. Excellent service with staff regularly checking in for drinks. Also children were catered for with seating and food options. Great view of the water on the balcony, food options were excellent with a large range of seafood and other alternatives. Many oyster topping choices and they were good, a bit pricey for the area but not too overpriced for the quality. Fish and chips were huge, so portion sizing is generous. Would recommend for a large gathering or family meal.

Martha's
PSA: this is a place you MUST eat at. Go for the self mix steak tartare, perfectly cooked calamari and the Eton Mess to die for. Everything is great here, they also do a great Sunday roast!I can't stop raving about how consistently impeccable Martha's is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Arthur and Mark, for another fantastic meal; for love you put into preparing the food and care you take in looking after your patrons. If I could give you ten stars, I would.

Farmgate Restaurant
Very glad I found this lovely restaurant during my stay in Nowra. The prawn and scallop ravioli was my favourite dish, with the rump steak being a close second. The owners were lovely. The only gripe I have was that the restaurant itself was stuffy and very warm - more ventilation is needed.

Blackbird Restaurant
This is a beautiful restaurant with nice quiet ambience to share an intimate dinner with your significant other or quiet dinner with Friends. French restaurant with an Asian Waiter who is attentive and polite. Not a huge place but you won't get under anyone's feet when you go to bathroom. Has outdoor seating and is right on the waterfront. Have been twice because we liked it so much the first time.

Matrioshka - Russian Restaurant
Easily the best Russian restaurant in Melbourne. The food is amazing, the staff and hosts are warm and welcoming. The food is divine and prepared perfectly. There’s also great entertainment, singers & dancing. It’s festive and fun. A great place for family dinners and functions or a romantic evening. Thank you so much to our host Ella. I love everything about this place.
