Ticked all the boxes for our overnight stay. The rooms were good & clean.

Affordable accommodation with clean comfortable rooms and bed. Management (Leo) was amazing. We were made to feel welcome immediately. I had a few random requests which he attended to promptly without fuss. He was happy to do anything to make our stay perfect. Will stay again.

The staff were terrific but seriously this old place is well past its use by date. The room was clean and comfortable - microwave, jug, small TV and bar fridge - heater and air con. Bath and Toilet clean and shower was nice and hot. Parking is a bit hit and miss, first in best dressed. I would give it 3.5 stars but can't.

Room was nothing like the photos. Which was disappointing..tired dusty and cramped..broken beds and thin poor mattress. Desk was great, but its the dodgiest thing I've seen for a while..just a 2..just.

First time going (and then multiple times after) to the pub after changing owners. All I can say is what wonderful, friendly and local people. Very helpful, very kind, very welcoming.I was surprised every time when I began eating my food (lamb cutlets, salmon 2nd time and 3rd time pork ribs). Every single time the food has been great, on first bite I think yep they have done well." Defiantly worth stoping if you are going through

Really comfy bed but paint chipped off the chairs inside, bathroom was absolutely tiny and had a weird odour. For the same price, Frewville Motor Inn around the corner is a lot nicer. Just really needs a refresh.

Given the price and location, if you are passing through or staying for a few days on a budget, it is a perfectly fine place to stay. There were some issues with the hot water (none), however the cleanliness of the room could not be faulted - mind you, I did forget to check the mattress which hopefully had a washable protector on it. Be warned, when we stayed in March a hide apartment was being built next door so you were woken by construction at 7am.

We were given room 3 and consider ourselves lucky as this is one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Incredible bathroom with rain head.The room had one Queen and two comfortable arm chairs with casual table wardrobe two seater dinning table and plenty of storage and bench options. A small kitchen with microwave toaster jug fridge cutlery plates wine glasses, it was all covered. From home we make two stops going from Piangil Victoria to Newcastle and from now on this will be one of them. To the owners I can only say well done you must be proud!

The units are a bit dated, but very clean, and provide everything you need for your stay there. A full stove with oven and a microwave was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and it was good to have an electric blanket on the bed.Air conditioning was very effective, and once warmed up, the room maintained its temperature well.The location is very central, you can walk to shops, pubs etc in just a few minutes.I will definitely stay there the next time I travel to Mount Gambier

We booked 5/6 rooms for us, friends and family to stay for our sons wedding in Kiama, and it was fantastic!! Firstly, Sylvia could not have been more responsive with correspondence; second she was so flexible' third, it was such great value even though it was more expensive than we would normally pay, but I decided for an event like our son's wedding, I was not staying in a motel, so we chose the honeymoon suite! Fourth, the accomadation itself was stunningly gorgeous in terms of decor, facilities, comfort and everything it offered. Fifth the location was so convenient, a short walk to the centre of town, cafes, parks, beach, lighthouse and the Pavilion where the reception was. Sixth, the verandas and garden area were also beautiful and a lovely place to sit. Seventh, they were able to accomadate us for an extra night at very short notice and finally, it was perfect for a group of people as we all had our own space, bathroom and kitchen area to make a cup of tea in the middle of the night or watch the World Cup without disturbing anyone !!!! I would go back here any day....it was a fantastic weekend and the accomadation just helped make it even more fantastic.
