Warm potbelly heated

Nestled in the valley at the end of a long driveway, you will find Hidden Haven, where I had the recent pleasure of enjoying a three night stay.Upon arriving we were greeted by Tony who was accompanied by Doug and Delta (the dogs). Tony told us all about the property and I was looking forward to a relaxing break in a loft cabin.The cabin itself was very cute. A self contained bungalow with the bathroom, living, kitchen and balcony areas on the main floor, and the bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen was fully equiped with cutlery, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, kettle and a bench top oven/air fryer.The cabin was just what I was after and included all the basics - though do not expect luxurious amenities, this is more of a practical stay.The property is expansive. Facilities include a pool which we made use of a number of times, tennis court, communal fire pit as well as a hall with sofas, pool table etc.In addition, there are plenty of walks to do on the property. We chose to take the walk to the Dilgry river, which was a challenging walk but we were rewarded by a clean, flowing river to cool off in once we arrived.What I didn't expect was the amount of wildlife. There were so many birds which was lovely to see. And on a few occasions we saw some kangaroos - though they were elusive and ran away when we got near.The nearest town is Gloucester which is where we stopped on our way in to purchase groceries for the stay.There is no mobile reception on the property, which is exactly what I wanted as I wanted to disconnect and unwind, however there is excellent wifi. As a result, I spent more time than what I would have liked on my phone. If you are wanting to disconnect, I would recommend setting a limit to the amount of time that you spend on the internet.Overall, I had the most wonderful stay on this clean and tidy property. Tony was very friendly and welcoming and it was a truly lovely area to come and unwind.

The place is quite run down now, the restaurant has closed down, cheap Kmart appliances and accessories in the room. The breakfast basket was an absolute joke, nothing like what was advertised.The one person working there was run off her feet having to do everything herself so the service was second rate really.Wouldn’t go back there again!

I have been meaning to take my mum on a mother daughter get away for years. Whispering Valley was truly magical and I haven't been able to get the experience out of my mind. Completely surrounded by the Hinterland bushland and the incredible orchestra of nature on dusk was nothing I'd ever experienced before. The accommodation was just beautiful, clean and everything you needed. I'll be back

The best holiday we have had in a long time! Wow what a gorgeous hotel. The spa cabins are spacious, clean and have the most incredible views. We did not want to leave. Stunning and peaceful location. Breakfast service was amazing too. Barb and Greg are lovely hosts and really make you feel welcome.

The whole family 8 adults 6 grandkids had a great weekend outside in summer weather. Great present for 70 y/o.

A serene accommodation at an affordable cost. A holiday accommodation is for rest, refresh and start again not only on a new day but for the rest of the year. The serenity brought by the nature and the ecosanity environment and facilities brings the calm, relaxed and the true me in me and back to me.This is the only place I want to stay if ever I come back to Tasmania.

My partner & I loved our little getaway with such amazing views of the Sunshine Coast & we spent alot of our time on the balcony/deck soaking in the landscape. This gorgeous cabin had it all and the spa + fire place made it even more magical. Thankyou for a wonderful time & we will be back!

Stunning retreat and just gorgeous cabins to stay in. This was a little 2 day solo retreat to just unwind and The Ridge was perfect....everything was of the highest standard and loved the deep bath tub! Glad I packed the Epsom Salts.Highly recommend for absolute peace and tranquillity.
