Oral and maxillofacial surgeon

I had my first dental experience with Dr Chris, The Wand and Laser today. Seriously Dr Chris all I can say is, where have you been all my life. Cara at reception is amazing and makes you feel so welcome and at ease from the get go, the staff I have encountered have also been amazing and I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to my next visit as I hated going to the dentist. Not any more, Thank you everyone at Smile Central If I could give you a 10 I would.

I’m not usually one to leave a google review especially a bad one but the service was so terrible i felt it was compulsory to warn others, the staff are extremely rude even going as far to make fatphobic comments to my partner, specifically the receptionist with ugly bleached hair, I think i heard him say his name was Arthur or Archie or something. DO NOT GO HERE !

No one likes having teeth extracted, and I wasn’t looking forward to my appointment.However, Dr Kristian van Mourik’s gentle, warm manner and attentiveness put me at ease immediately. He did an excellent job of making a difficult procedure seem simple, and post-procedure care is also great.Reception and nursing staff were lovely, as well as knowledgeable and caring.I highly recommend Kristian, his work and his team.

I would think twice about taking your health problems to this place especially if you are LGBTQI+, especially if you are traumatized by every visit to any dental specialist, and especially if you have a busy schedule. They are insensitive and rude and indifferent to their patients’ circumstances. They act like a public health provider even though they charge like wounded bulls. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you submit your oral health to their far from tender care. The are critically disorganized, constantly changing appointment times without any thought of how their constant rescheduling might affect one’s own professional commitments, and when you show up on time according to their ever-changing scheduling needs, they tell you you’ll have wait an hour, dispute the appointment time, and when you get irate but still polite, they tell you to find another periodontist. I’ve never been so upset. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

My girlfriend had a horrible recent experience, unprofessional receptionist staff and delays left right and centre. No empathy. Do not recommend.

I had to have wisdom tooth removed. Chose to go through a specialist as my dentist reassured me it would be quick and I’d be walking out of there in 10 minutes. He wasn’t wrong it was very quick , I was actually pretty impressed.I was given 3 injections before the extraction and I honestly didn’t feel them at all. The nurse was nice and she provided good after care education.I would happily return, it was a good experience. It’s been a month and no issues at all.

I recently had an impacted wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Crombie, the whole experience has been great. I was able to book the procedure easily over the phone and get in within a short time frame. Dr Crombie explained everything to me, he was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The whole procedure was over before I even realised which was fantastic. The consultation prior to the extraction was bulk billed which meant the overall cost was less than quoted, again fantastic. His office has since checked in with me both over the phone and via email to make sure I am going well. I was also given really easy to follow aftercare instructions which has made healing easy.

Dr Mourik is definitely the best oral surgeon! My brother went to another clinic in city at first but the surgeon said he must get at least 2 of his teeth removed to fix his problem. BUT we were too shocked and frightened by his solution and then we found this clinic. Dr Mourik suggested a much better and reliable solution which doesn’t require the removal of any of his tooth. He’s super nice and friendly and trustworthy!

Stephen Austin is a very caring compassionate and skilful dentist. He went out of his way to care for my elderly mother. Couldn't praise him highly enough. He is very gentle and reassuring and explains procedures thoroughly.

Great place, Dr Nebir was professional and very informative, clean wasn’t sensitive, felt comfortable. Great customer service, front desk and DA was friendly and cool. Recommend this place to anyone.
