Hands down the best oysters in Tassie. Way better than Freycinet oysters. And very good pricing too. Buy a dozen and ate on roadside. Would visit again!

Fishbowl Newington is a top fish & chips place that my wife Lassie Zia and I go to all the time.The staff are brilliant and the quality of food is amazing. We've had Fish Burgers of all forms, tried all the salads and it's just done really well.Even if you want basic Fish & Chips, it's just done great. Top spot, highly recommended and love their work!

Their oysters are so fresh and tasty! It comes in two different sizes, we preferred the smaller ones, super creamy and taste like the sea.You can drive down another minute to enjoy them at a park near the coast.

Barilla Bay Oyster Farm
Oysters are big and fresh. The whole fish is fried to perfection. Chef even put slices in the skin so when you lift the meat from the frame, it comes off in bite size pieces. The wait staff are top shelf. Food was on time and delicious.

OMG OYSTERS ARE SENSATIONAL!!! The small business is remarkable, we stopped in early Sat morning and walked around the back as the shop was closed, hoping for some Oysters to take back to sydney the next day. the lovely lady there told me they had suffered due to the 360ml rain they received but still had some oysters salvaged. I asked if we could have some tomorrow morning she advised they would be closed but would put them aside and to come around the back. We arrived on Sunday morning to find a note they the oysters were in the fridge as promised and to put money into the bank of give cash. They truly are a wonderful team. I will return every time we.venture to the south Coast!!!
