I enquired about an launching an anti discrimination case against Optus in Robina after they threatened me with police getting me thrown out of the store and call me basically a liar, because I was not wearing a mask and told them I had an exemption which I do. They then forced me to share my private medical information with two of their staff before they would fix my phone problem. This law firm told me that the owner does not want to take on those kinds of cases. All I wanted was some advice on how to proceed, but obviously they either do not know the law relating to these matters or are and willing to involve themselves in what is a politically unpopular type of case. Which means they basically will not stand up for you, when you need help.“These type of cases” is not a good enough reason to not want to help someone in my opinion.
