I purchased a Genesys 2500i inverter generator from BDG for use on camping trips, Good quality unit which lived up to expectations. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for after sales service.I dropped off the unit for a service (outside of warranty), on January 4 2023. The unit was 'hunting'.I waited 4 months, regularly sending emails requesting updates. I received replies from various service department administrators, one found the job number and the part that was out of stock (inverter) was finally in stock.At no stage did any service technicians return my emails.In the end I visited BDG service department during the first week of April to cancel the service and take my generator elsewhere. I was told they were still waiting for the part, even though I had been told by the administrator it was in stock.BDG was going to charge me for cancellation of the job number, fortunately Mark waived the charge due to the lack of communication.I took the generator to a smaller family run business. The service was turned around within 2 weeks. No inverter was required, just a new spark plug and general service including oil change.

My personal experience has been nothing but fantastic! 5 years ago they installed a $17,000 residential system which was the best decision. Now I have sold that property and have returned to WA Solar for my new property. Their vast history covering most of this state means that they have the knowledge of the best quality and reliable products. Totally trustworthy and am delighted to recommend WA Solar

Last minute call out on a Friday. Ran into a few issues right on knock off time. One call to CAPS and we had 3 people on the job to get us sorted. 30mins later, a tech was on site, diagnosed the issue, picked up replacements from across town then back again to fit. Only just signed service agreements last week so haven't even had a proper service so this was great! Fantastic service on a Friday arvo esp when services have been cut in half due to flooding and COVID. Will be looking for a long term agreement with these guys.
