Please ignore all the negative reviews, those are usually from people unwilling to put in any effort and expect to get everything for free. Torrens University is excellent with staff and lecturers that are amazing talented people with lots of experience. They are kind and helpful. I started at the campus in Brisbane and later on moved to the one in Adelaide - the process was really simple and all it took was talking to one Torrens staff. There is a bit of a learning curve to using all of their platforms such as Blackboard and Student Hub, but they are easy understand and navigate.Torrens University is helping me fulfil my dream. Do not let the reviews discourage you.

I participated in the comprehensive package.Section 2 was by far the best - I'm able to confidently say that I am a much better S2 writer; this may be due to the fact that I was tutored by Andy Harmsen - who is, in my opinion, the best teacher at Frasers. Section 1 is a bit of a curve ball, the lessons were well structure, enjoyable and engaging - however, I cannot say with confidence that I'm now better at S1 than before. Lastly, I was able to learn of lot of trick and tips for S3, and I can say with some confidence that I am better at s3 than I was before doing Frasers. However many of the S3 tutors are not specialist teacher as most are uni students who are teaching GAMSAT on the side because they performed well in the exam themselves. I wish they had at least some specialist tutors (teachers by profession), especially during the Bridging Phase and Practice Based Learning phase. It is important to note that I am from a non-science background, hence my perceived improvements in S3 may be partly be due to exposure as opposed to the quality of teaching.Lastly, having the support of other students is something that cannot be underestimated - having the support of Frasers and other students made the experience really enjoyable.

Really well structured course. The tutors were great and their strategies were really helpful to boost confidence in all sections. Andy was a really great tutor that helped to boost confidence in S2 and build a strategy. He understood my weaknesses and really helped target them and improve, not just in writing but also the mindset for approaching S2.

I did this course to prep for my first GAMSAT sitting in March just gone. I came in feeling reasonably confident in S1 and S3 but dreading the thought of S2. Found out my confidence may have been a little misplaced (initially, got through that) but definitely learned exactly what I needed to know in order to put together a coherent and intelligible response to S2 through the amazing teaching of both the S2 course but also the private tutes with the amazing Andy! Thank you so much. This course was incredibly useful.

A wonderful university which caters to individual needs. With a caring and understanding approach towards it students and having small teacher to student rations allows Notre Dame to be a university which can offer a good balance between the practical and the theory. Its theological and philosophical foundations are from seeking to convert, but rather increase the knowledge and understanding of its students through these core units. Overall, my time here at the university has been positive and rewarding.
